Bologna vs Inter Milan Predictions, Game Preview, Live Stream, Odds & Picks

Neither Has Lost in Last 4 Games

Defeating Bologna would allow Inter Milan to climb into first place with four games left. If they succeed, they will depend only on themselves to revalidate the title.

On paper, they shouldn’t have too much trouble. However, Bologna recently made AC Milan and Juventus suffer. Even so, as expected, the Neroazurros come in as the soccer betting favorites thanks to a -230 price.

Let’s check the latest news, stats, injury reports, and Italy Serie A odds Bologna vs Inter Milan. We’ve plenty of soccer predictions for you to consider.

Bologna to Avoid Relegation

Defeating Inter Milan would allow Bologna to officially avoid relegation, the team’s main objective since the beginning of the season.

Bologna hasn’t lost in its last four games. First, they drew 0-0 to AC Milan in San Siro. Later, they defeated Sampdoria 2-0 at home. Then, they drew 1-1 to Juventus. The Vecchia Signora evened the score in stoppage time. Most recently, they drew 2-2 to Udinese.

Marko Arnautovic, the team’s top scorer with 12 goals, is on fire after scoring three of Bologna’s last five goals. Musa Barrow, the team’s second top scorer only has five goals. In other words, Arnautovic should be Inter Milan’s main concern.

Going back to collective matters, Bologna has been considerably better when playing at home. The Rossoblu are 7-4-6 when playing at Renato Dall’Ara, while 3-5-8 when playing on the road. They only lost one of their last six home games, and it was a close one against Atalanta (1-0).

The home side is offering a +650 price in the sportsbook to win straight up. If they manage to pull off the upset, you could win $750 ($100 bet).

Inter Milan on a Roll

Inter Milan has 11 straight games without losing. That includes the Serie A, the UEFA Champions League, and the Coppa Italia.

Last week, they defeated AC Milan 3-0 in the second leg of the Coppa Italia Semifinals. Lautaro Martinez, twice, and Robin Gosens were the scorers. Four days later, they defeated AS Roma 3-1 in the Serie A. Denzel Dumfries, Marcelo Brozovic, and Martinez were the scorers.

That’s right, it’s going to be a great individual matchup between Martinez and Arnautovic. The Argentinian has scored 16 goals, enough to be among the league’s top scorers.

Here’s another reason for Inter Milan to dominate the betting online odds. The Neroazurros have lost only one game when playing on the road (9-6-1). Their non-losing streak includes victories at Juventus Stadium and Anfield (Liverpool).

Inter Milan hasn’t won back-to-back Serie A titles since 2010. Having been eliminated from the UCL and with the Coppa Italia Final in the bag, rewriting that history has become their primary goal.

“We’re going to have to be very clever to manage our mental and physical energy with the hectic run we have ahead of us but we’re ready for it. I’ve seen lots of positive signs in the last few matches,” manager Simone Inzaghi said after their last game.

Their first meeting wasn’t a challenge for Inter Milan. The Neroazurros crushed Bologna 6-1 at San Siro with Edin Dzeko as the Man of the Match after scoring twice. Martinez, Milan Skriniar, Nicolo Barella, and Matias Vecino also scored.

Inter owns a 7-1-2 record in its last 10 encounters with Bologna. During that span, the Neroazurros finished with a clean sheet three times and failed to score only once. The last time they met at Renato Dall’Ara the visitors won 1-0.

Bologna vs Inter Milan Prediction

Besides being the best team, Inter Milan is highly motivated. Plus, the Neroazurros scored in eight of their last 10 road games in the Serie A. They scored two or more goals in four of those games. Bologna is also highly motivated, but Inter’s experience and depth will make the difference. However, Bologna will also score, helping the total go over, which is precisely my football predictions.

Score Prediction: Inter Milan 3, Bologna 1
