Betis vs Celta Vigo

Betis are sitting third in the standings after 18 rounds with 33 points. They have lost just five games, but they enter this clash on the back of a 3-2 defeat on the road to Bilbao. They enter this home clash as -130 favorites being on the three-way money with the latest soccer odds.

At home, they lost just twice in nine games, scoring 19 goals in the process. They have a great record against Celta Vigo, going unbeaten in their last six mutual encounters and winning four. They won their previous two head-to-heads on home soil, scoring twice in each game.

The hosts have the second-best attack (behind Real Madrid) in the league with 32 goals scored in 18 games. Top strikers Juanmi and Nabil Fekir are scoring goals for fun, and they are  tipped to find the back of the net once again against Celta Vigo.

On the other side, Celta Vigo is very strong on the road, losing just two of eight away games. They are a mid-table team, but they are always tough to play against due to their amazing fighting spirit.

They lost just once in their previous seven La Liga fixtures, at home against Valencia. We expect them to find the back of the net, but it will be very difficult for them to cope with Betis’ amazing attacking firepower.

Last time they beat Betis was back in 2018, 3-2 in front of their fans, but their previous away win was in 2013. Betis is a great team to back in your soccer picks and parlays when playing at home.

Pick: Betis -130

Villarreal vs Levante

This should be an easy home win. Villarreal is the hottest La Liga team and enters this clash on the back of three impressive wins over Rayo Vallecano, Real Sociedad and Alaves, scoring 10 goals in the process.

They are brilliant going forward and, after a poor start to their domestic season, they are now sitting ninth in the standings with 25 points in 18 games. At home, they lost just twice in nine games while scoring 19 goals.

Let’s not forget that during their bad period with poor results, they had many first-team players injured or with Covid and also European commitments. Now, their main objective is to climb the standings and a top-four finish, which will earn them a Champions League ticket.

This season, they have already qualified in the Champions League knockout stages and they will play Juventus in February. They have all necessary weapons to beat any team in the league, as they are fully packed with world-class players all over the pitch.

On the other side, Levante is sitting dead last with zero wins. On the road, they conceded 21 goals in nine games, earning just two points in nine fixtures.

The hosts won three of their previous four home games against Levante, scoring at least twice in each match. We already know the rule: If you’re betting online there’s always a team to fade in every league. Levante are the fading kings in La Liga, and we will keep going against them until the end of the season when they will probably get relegated.

There’s no value in a straight home win but we expect Villarreal to cover the -1 spread because they should be able to score at least three goals on their own.

Pick: Villarreal -1 goal (-140)
