Exciting forward Joao Pedro has joined from Watford, defender Igor Julio has signed from Fiorentina and midfielders James Milner and Mahmoud Dahoud have arrived to add some much needed experience to the squad from Liverpool and Dortmund, respectively.
De Zerbi only has experience of one season in European football, which is more than many of his squad. The Europa League may decrease the vibrancy coursing through the club, but the Seagulls should still be on course for another top-half finish.

Luton Town: Back in EPL
For the first time since the 1991-92 season, the year before the Premier League was formed, Luton Town will play in the top flight of English football. The Hatters fell all the way down to the Conference in 2009-10 and all the way back again, thanks to their penalty shootout victory over Coventry in last season’s Championship playoff final.
Rob Edwards took over at Kenilworth Road in November last year after being sacked by rivals Watford and did the unthinkable at the time, taking the Hatters to the promised land and bringing Premier League football to the town for the first time. The Hatters have signed more than a half-dozen players. But unlike a few promoted clubs in the last few years, they have not spent over the top and have instead looked for clever deals in the market. These include loan transfers and cut-price transfers. Issa Kabore is an eye-catching addition to the first-team squad, with the 18-year-old prospect arriving on loan from Manchester City.
