European Longshot Parlay: Chelsea Eager to Teach Man United a lesson

European Longshot Parlay at +987

Parlays are fun but longshots are better. We have four picks for this weekend’s European action. You can take them as single bets or add them in a parlay. Our sportsbook is offering a great range of props for all European soccer leagues.

European Longshot Parlay

Greuther Furth vs. Hoffenheim (Bundesliga Round 13)

We were one goal away from cashing our longshot parlay last weekend. Easy wins from Chelsea, Real Madrid, and Monchengladbach but Sassuolo failed to secure a one-goal lead on two occasions being kept to a 2-2 draw by Cagliari. It’s time for this week’s action and we have four selections for the longshot parlay.

Week in and week out we are fading the mighty Greuther Furth in the Bundesliga, probably the worst team in the top five European League. Since the start of the season, we have played against them in our soccer picks and parlays, and we will do it again. With one point earned in 12 rounds and 33 goals conceded in the process, Greuther Furth are sitting dead last in the German top-flight league standings. How can one not bet against them? They are already thinking about life in the second division because they will definitely go down at the end of the season.

On the other side, Hoffenheim pulled off a great upset last week beating RB Leipzig 2-0 on home soil and extending their brilliant record in front of their fans. On the road, they are not that good winning just one in six away games, but they are playing Furth who managed just three goals in five home games. We expect a clear away win.

Pick: Hoffenheim ML at -145

Napoli vs. Lazio (Serie A Round 14)

Napoli are still enjoying life at the top of the table in the Italian top-flight league, but this is a complicated period for them. Their star striker Victor Osimhen picked up a horror injury in Napoli’s 3-2 defeat to Inter. The striker must undergo surgery after sustaining multiple facial fractures. He will be out for at least three months, and he will probably miss the Africa Cup of Nations in January.

Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa suffered an abductor injury on his left leg joining Osimhen on Napoli’s injury list. Winger Matteo Politano has tested positive for Covid-19 following a test carried out a few days ago while defender Kostas Manolas is still out with a muscular injury.

The hosts are winless in their previous three fixtures across all competitions losing two in the process and we don’t expect them to bounce back on Sunday against Lazio. The visitors will be happy to have their star striker Ciro Immobile back in the team. He is by far their most important player and without him, in the squad, they lost last weekend at home to Juventus. It was their first Serie A home defeat since last year. Lazio are way overpriced here and we will take them to return home with at least one point.

Pick: Lazio +½ at +105

Cagliari vs. Salernitana (Serie A Round 14)

Cagliari and Salernitana are equal on points at the bottom of the table, and this is a crucial match for both. Normally we are not betting on a match between two teams sitting in the last two spots in the league but there’s great value on a home win and if you’re betting online, you know how important it is to find value.

The hosts managed to put an end to their four-game losing run, keeping Sassuolo last weekend to a 2-2 draw after a decent performance. Joao Pedro and Keita Balde were once again brilliant for Cagliari scoring the two goals. Cagliari are better at home than on the road. The quality and top-flight league experience is on their side.

Salernitana are awful on the road. They failed to find the back of the net in three from six away games losing five in the process. We expect a clear home win, so we are taking Cagliari on the moneyline.

Pick: Cagliari ML at -105

Chelsea vs. Man United (Premier League Round 13)

Leaders Chelsea are on fire. They showed us once again that the 1-1 draw against Burnley was a mistake. They trashed both Leicester in Premier League (3-0) and Juventus in the Champions League (4-0) and they are ready to teach Man United a lesson. They enter this clash as huge favorites being priced at -165 on the three-way moneyline according to the latest soccer odds.

Everything is world-class with the Blues; they are superb all over the pitch and Thomas Tuchel’s tactical masterclass is present in every single game. On the other side, Man United managed to return to winning ways this week against Villarreal. They sacked Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after the 4-1 defeat to Watford with Michael Carrick placed in temporary charge.

Paris Saint-Germain boss Mauricio Pochettino is the club’s first choice but till then the Red Devils must face leaders Chelsea and things don’t look encouraging. The hosts are rock-solid at the back, powerful from the middle and up, super focused and determined to add three more points to their tally. This should be an easy win for Chelsea so you can sprinkle a small stake on them to cover the -1 spread. For this parlay we are just taking a straight home win.

Pick: Chelsea ML at -165
