Hot Streak?
FC Cincinnati is fifth in the MLS Eastern Conference, seven points behind the New York Red Bulls. That’s basically why they come in as the betting online underdogs despite being the host in Saturday’s matchup against the Red Bulls. The thing is, the Orange and Blue have played one game less. Plus, they haven’t lost in their last four games (1-3-0).
As for the visitors, they’ll be looking for their third straight victory. Here’s another reason for them to dominate the odds board: Six of their nine victories came on the road.
Let’s check the latest MLS news, stats, injury reports and MLS odds for Cincinnati vs Red Bulls. We’ve plenty of MLS picks & predictions for you to consider.
FC Cincinnati: Goals, Goals & Goals
There are two teams that have scored more goals than FC Cincinnati (29) in the Eastern Conference, New York City FC (33) and CF Montreal (32). However, the Orange and Blue are on an impressive scoring streak as they’ve scored at least one goal in each of their last 13 games.
Most recently, they drew 2-2 to the New England Revolution, exactly like we predicted, including the correct score. The draw was offering a +345 price so if you took our advice, congratulations!
The Orange and Blue came from behind twice. First, thanks to an own goal from Henry Kessler. Later, in the second half, Brenner Souza saved the day by scoring in his third consecutive match, becoming the third player in club history to do so.
Prior to that, they drew 4-4 to NYCFC. We’re talking about two positive results against two title contenders over a week. In other words, you can expect a highly motivated team.
The dynamic duo of Brandon Vazquez (eight goals) and Luciano Acosta (10 assists) is another good reason for you to consider including the home side in your soccer picks, especially at +185. As we have said before, a home underdog will always be a tempting underdog.
New York Red Bulls Regaining Confidence
After a very rocky start to the season, the New York Red Bulls have been turning things around, both in the MLS and U.S. Open Cup. As mentioned before, they sit atop the MLS Eastern Conference with 32 points, two more than the Philadelphia Union.
Last week, they suffered more than expected but still ended up defeating Sporting KC on a goal from Aaron Long. To be fair, they went down to 10 men with 17 minutes left on the clock. Sean Nealis was sent off after a controversial foul.
“I think my boys showed me in the defensive structure, in the defensive behavior, very good moments, a mindset of a fighter, and especially in the underload situation that the group was so close together and left everything on the field,” head coach Gerhard Struber said after the game.
The Red Bulls won four of their last five games, including a 3-0 victory over New York City FC in the quarterfinals of the U.S. Open Cup. Now, they’ll face Orlando City in the semifinals at the end of the month.
While the home side has Vazquez, the visiting side has Lewis Morgan, who has scored eight goals as well. Regarding the assists department, Omir Fernandez leads New York with six. Summing up, the Red Bulls deserve to dominate the soccer odds at +135.

We’re talking about two of the top scoring teams in the Eastern Conference, so you can expect goals. However, don’t expect the total to go over 2½ goals. In their previous eight meetings, that happened only twice. Plus, as mentioned before, Cincy has put up a good fight against title contenders. They’re even very close to becoming one. Therefore, we recommend you include the draw in your online gambling ticket.
