Both Teams Riding Unbeaten Streaks
Better Chance
Missing the top European soccer leagues? Don’t worry, the good ol’ MLS is here to entertain you and give you the opportunity to win some bucks. On Saturday, the red-hot Philadelphia Union will hit the road to visit Orlando City, a team full of ups and downs.
However, the only two games Philly has lost were on the road, giving the Lions a better chance against the team sitting atop the Eastern Conference. In fact, Orlando City dominates the soccer odds thanks to a +145 price.

Let’s check the latest MLS news, stats, injury reports, and MLS odds for Orlando City vs Union. We’ve plenty of MLS picks and predictions and soccer betting for you to consider.
Orlando City: Building a Streak?
After suffering a humiliating 5-3 loss to DC United, the team sitting at the bottom of the Eastern Conference, head coach Oscar Pareja made some changes and now Orlando City in on a three-match unbeaten streak.
Most recently, they drew 1-1 to Atlanta United. Mauricio Pereyra, who’s having a great season, was the scorer. Pereyra isn’t the team’s top scorer, but he leads the assists department with nine, making him one of the main reasons to consider including them in your soccer picks.
There are also Ercan Kara and Facundo Torres, who have scored nine and four goals, respectively. As if that wasn’t enough, the Lions recently acquired Niko Gioacchini, who won the 2021 Gold Cup with the U.S. national team and used to play for Stade Malherbe Caen of France’s Ligue 2.
Orlando owns a 5-0-5 record when playing at home. The humiliating loss against DC United was at home, but they bounced back in their last game at Exploria Stadium by defeating Inter Miami 1-0. Emotionally, winning a derby can make a huge difference.
I’m not so sure about the Lions being the favorites at +145, but there’s no doubt that it’s a very tempting deal.
Philadelphia Union: Well-Balanced Machine
The Philadelphia Union has gone four straight games without losing, winning the last three with an 11-2 aggregate. That includes a 7-0 victory over DC United, making Orlando’s loss even more embarrassing.
Last Saturday, the Zolos defeated the New England Revolution 2-1, exactly like we predicted. They came from behind in a four-minute span thanks to Mikael Uhre and Daniel Gazdag. That was Philly’s 10th victory overall an sixth at home, where they remain undefeated.
Individually, Gazdag is having a great season as well. He’s the team’s top scorer with nine goals. He’s followed by Julian Carranza, who has scored seven goals. In other words, the Zolos have a lethal duo.
Overall, the Zolos have scored 33 goals. Only New York City FC and CF Montreal have scored more goals with 39 and 34. The Union also own the best defensive record after allowing only 15 goals. That’s six goals less than the second place.
If the Lions offering a +145 in the sportsbook is a very tempting deal, the Zolos at +190 is even better. That means you could win $190 per every $100 wager on them.

Orlando City vs Union Prediction
If you were looking for an underdog to include in your betting online ticket, stop. You won’t find a more tempting underdog than the Philadelphia Union. Again, we’re talking about a team that averages 1.5 goals per game and allows only 0.7. Plus, they’ve no concern other than staying at the top of the league. Orlando will put up a good fight, but it won’t be enough to end Philly’s hot streak.
Score Prediction: Philadelphia Union 2, Orlando City 1
