Both Side Need Victory ASAP
Although MLS has improved a lot, when it comes to CONCACAF, there’s no doubt that Liga MX remains the best. Fortunately for all soccer betting enthusiasts, at BetUS we cover both. That’s why you can also check our preview for Orlando City vs New England Revolution.
Anyway, back to Liga MX. Club America, one of the favorites to dethrone Atlas, isn’t meeting expectations. In fact, Las Aguilas could fall to last place if they lose against Juarez. Even so, they come in as the favorites. The visitors not winning any of their last five matches has a lot to do with it.
Club America: Facing the Giants
Club America only won one of its first five games (1-1-3). Most recently, they put on a great show with Leon, which they ended up losing 3-2. The good news for Las Aguilas is that striker Henry Martin kept up his hot streak. He scored in three of the team’s last five games in all competitions.
Curiously enough, America has been struggling to defeat teams such as Tijuana, but they put up a very good fight against some of Europe’s finest. A couple of weeks ago, they drew 2-2 to Real Madrid. They also collided with Chelsea and Manchester City, losing both games 2-1.
That’s why it will always be worth considering including America in your soccer picks, because we’re talking about a team accustomed to pressure and big challenges. There’s also the fact that they’ve talent to spare. The following players didn’t start against Leon, some didn’t play at all: Jonathan dos Santos, Bruno Valdez, Miguel Layun, Federico Vinas and Jurgen Damm. All of them would be undisputed starters on any other Liga MX club.
As mentioned before, Las Aguilas dominate the Las Vegas odds at -175. Yes, they haven’t had a good start, but they remain unbeaten when playing at home, and they faced two very good opponents in Atlas (0-0) and Toluca (1-0).
Juarez: Trusting Fernandez
Juarez sits in 12th place, three points above Club America, and Los Bravos have played two more games. That being said, their situation isn’t much different compared to Las Aguilas.
Most recently, Los Bravos drew 1-1 to Atletico San Luis. They came from behind thanks to Alan Camacho, who scored the equalizer during the second half. They also drew 1-1 to Toluca and Queretaro, while losing to Necaxa and Tigres by 1-0 scores. Summing up, they always put up a good fight but lack focus. For example, against Toluca, they scored the opener in the 88th minute. They couldn’t hold onto the lead and allowed Los Diablos Rojos to score the equalizer in stoppage time.
In this case, the main reason for you to consider including Juarez in your betting online ticket is Gabriel Fernandez, who has scored three goals. Only three other players in the league have scored more goals. He’s on a loan from Celta de Vigo. A good Torneo de Apertura could be the key to access the 2022 World Cup.
The visitors are offering a +550 price. That means you could win $575 per every $100 bet on them. Considering they’ve no major injury concerns and that they will be much more rested than their opponents, that’s a very tempting deal.

Club America vs Juarez Prediction
This is a great opportunity for Club America to return to the winning column. Yes, midweek they faced Los Angeles FC in a friendly match, but several players, including Martin, didn’t play the whole game. Therefore, they should be ready to go all-in right from the start. It won’t be easy, though. Juarez’s lone victory was on the road, 2-0 over Tijuana. That won’t happen again, but Los Bravos will score, contributing for the total to go over 2½ goals.
Score Prediction: Club America 2, Juarez 1
