Croatia’s Two Versions
Luka Modric and company also started the tournament on the wrong foot, hosting the Austria and losing, 3-0. The only one who didn’t play due to injury was Ivan Perisic, so no excuses for the humiliation there.
As was mentioned before, the Blazers faced France and won a point. Like Deschamps, head coach Zlatko Dalic experimented a bit. It wasn’t a bad result, despite playing at home.
This past Friday, the Blazers visited Denmark, a team highly motivated and defending first place in the standings. Croatia ended with a 1-0 win. Mario Pasalic scored the lone goal. It was the team’s fourth clean sheet over their last 10.
It’s hard to think of a more tempting underdog to include in your soccer picks. The Blazers are a very disciplined team and are offering a +550 price. This may boost Croatia to first place, also burying the reigning champs at the same time. That doesn’t motivate them or nothing does. Plus, no major injury concerns.
