France has a strong squad

France is the current Nations League holder, entering this clash in terrific form with their last seven games, including some impressive victories against the likes of Spain and Belgium. France also netted 13 goals in two games against Kazakhstan and South Africa.

Topping League A Group 3 of the 2020/21 UEFA Nations League ahead of Portugal, France had 16 points in their six matches, then disposed of Belgium, 3-2, in the semifinals and Spain, 2-1, in the final game. Les Blues are also the reigning world champs, winning the trophy in 2018 by beating Croatia, 4-2, in the final match. They will be expected to have a deep run in November.

They were among the favorites to win Euro 2020 last season, though eliminated knocked by Switzerland on penalties. Throwing away a two-goal lead in Bucharest with Kylian Mbappe, Golden Boy of the footballing world, missed a ton of chances and the crucial penalty.

France will want to draw a line under any unrest after exiting early, as in less than six months’ time, they will look to defend their world title. Beginning with the Nations League and a competition they like, a competition they’ve won. There’s no Paul Pogba in the squad, with the midfielder missing the latter portion of the season due to an injured calf, so the rising star, Aurelien Tchouameni, could play alongside N’Golo Kante in midfield.

France have a super-strong squad at their disposal., Champions League’s Player of the Season Karim Benzema is ready to give it all for his country, and PSG’s Kylian Mbappe joining him in the attacking line, determined to shine once again. France is one of the best teams in the world. We will include them in our soccer picks and parlays.

Tough foe in Denmark

Denmark have qualified for the 2022 World Cup, and will actually oppose France in the groups of that competition in November. They will take on France, Austria (twice) and Croatia in the UEFA Nations League over the next couple of weeks.

Denmark enters this clash on the back of two defeats in their last three international fixtures. Both of those setbacks-against Scotland and the Netherlands-came on the road. Denmark turned out to be the surprise package of Euro 2020. After horrifically witnessing Christian Eriksen suffer a cardiac arrest in their first game, Denmark made it to the semifinals of the competition. They even had the lead, but ultimately lost, 2-1, to England at Wembley Stadium in London. They booked their World Cup tickets by winning nine out of 10 games in the qualifying campaign, registering the joint-highest point tally (alongside Germany) in Europe.

An injury to Simon Kjaer could open the door for Jannik Vestergaard to be featured alongside Andreas Christensen in the middle of the defense. Denmark cannot be underestimated, due to their obvious quality and spirit, but if you’re betting online, you can’t oppose France when they are playing in front of their fans.

France vs Denmark Head-to-Head

France is unbeaten in their last nine international fixtures. Didier Deschamps’ men are on a seven-game winning streak, a total of 24 goals scored, having conceded just four. The last time France lost a home game was in November, 2020, against Finland. Kasper Hjulmand’s side has recovered well following their Euro 2020 semifinal loss to England, winning in seven of their next nine fixtures across all of the competitions. Away from home, the Danes have lost just one of their previous five Nations League games, 4-2 to Belgium in November of 2020. France has won three of their last four head-to-heads with Denmark.
