The last time they met in La Liga, Barcelona crushed Granada 4-0 with Lionel Messi and Antoine Griezmann leading the way. Both scored two goals while Granada finished with 10 players after Jesus Vallejo saw the red card 78 minutes into the match.

Barcelona owns an 8-0-2 record in its last 10 games against Granada, scoring 26 goals while allowing just five. The last time Granada defeated Barcelona was last season, but it has never won at Camp Nou.

Why Bet on Barcelona?

Barcelona won six of its last seven games in all competitions, including recent victories over Athletic Bilbao (4-0), Getafe (5-2) and Villarreal (2-1). Keep in mind that Athletic just beat Atletico Madrid 2-1.

They’ve scored 76 goals in La Liga, 16 more than Atletico Madrid, but they’ve allowed 29 goals, worst among the top four.

Beating Granada would boost Barcelona to 74 points, one more than Atletico Madrid and three more than Real Madrid. They’ll be facing Atletico Madrid on May 8; whoever is victorious will win more than three points.

“Winning La Liga is closer but I’m not sure if it’s easier. There are going to be teams who are going to make things complicated for us, but we are going to give everything until the end of the season,” said manager Ronald Koeman to the press.

Messi commands the La Liga scoring chart with 25 goals and he also leads the team in assists with nine.  Griezmann scored both goals against Villarreal, proving he belongs by Messi’s side.

Barcelona’s record at home is almost flawless with one loss in 16 matches (11-4-1) and it is also 7-7-2 against the spread and 8-6-2 over/under.

Miralem Pjanic rejoined the training sessions, but Ansu Fati, Philippe Coutinho and Martin Braithwaite are out due to injury. Their expected lineup is Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Clement Lenglet, Sergino Dest, Oscar Mingueza, Gerard Pique, Jordi Alba, Pedri, Sergio Busquets, Frenkie de Jong, Antoine Griezmann and Lionel Messi.

Why Bet on Granada?

Granada may not be the online sports betting favorite here, but don’t sleep on them. They’re in eighth place, still fighting for a UEFA Europa League ticket, a competition in which they reached the Round of Eight this season.

They lost their last game against Sevilla 2-1 but fought bravely. Their record on the road is far from good, 3-3-10, and they also are 6-8-2 against the spread and 10-4-2 over/under when playing away from home.

So far, they haven’t been able to beat any of the top four teams. They also have to face Real Madrid on May 13.

Individually, Roberto Soldado has had a solid season. He’s the team’s top scorer with nine goals, four more than Jorge Molina.

Alberto Soro, Domingos Duarte and Neyder Lozano are injured. Their expected lineup is Rui Silva, Carlos Neva, Jesús Vallejo, German Sanchez, Quini, Antonio Puertas, Yangel Herrera, Maxime Gonalons, Robert Kenedy, Roberto Soldado and Luis Javier Suarez.

Final Analysis, Predictions

Barcelona is on a roll, and they also bring out the best version of their opponent. There have been three or more goals scored in each of Barcelona’s last four games, and 44 percent of their La Liga home games have seen both sides scored before halftime.

Also, Barcelona won six of their last 10 games against Granada by two or more goals. Expect another good game here, where Barcelona has to go all-in and Granada will fight until the end.

The best draw price at the latest Soccer Props is +1200, while Barcelona winning goes from +600 to +7000.

Pick: Over 3½ goals (-115)
