Inter CF Looking for First Victory
Gonzalo Higuain won it all while playing for Real Madrid, Chelsea, and Juventus. However, El Pipa hasn’t been able to lead Inter Miami CF to that kind of success. Things haven’t changed much at the start of the current season. The Herons sit in last place in the Eastern Conference.
There is good and bad news about their upcoming match. The good news is that the game will be at DRV PNK Stadium, where they won their lone point. The bad news is that they come in as the soccer betting underdogs as they’ll face the New England Revolution. We’re talking about a sleeping giant eager to wake up.
Let’s check the latest news, stats, injury reports, and USA MLS odds for Inter CF vs Revolution. We’ve plenty of predictions for you to consider.
Inter CF Can’t Go Any Lower
Inter Miami CF is the only team in the Eastern Conference that hasn’t won, the Herons own a 0-1-4 record, with three goals for and 13 against. At least they don’t own the worst defensive unit as Montreal CF has allowed 14 goals.
The Herons opened the season with a goalless draw against the Chicago Fire. Not bad considering Chicago is one of two unbeaten teams in the East. Later, they lost four consecutive games, most recently, 3-1 to the Houston Dynamo.
Inter Miami signed six players who should be making a difference, especially Emerson Rodriguez. However, none have lived up to expectations. Maybe it’s time for head coach Phil Neville to take a look into the Academy.
This will be the Herons’ fourth match at home. They were soccer picks favorites in two of the previous three, always with a plus price. This time, as I mentioned before, they come in as the underdog thanks to a +210 price.
No major injuries to report here. In fact, Brek Shea will be back after missing the last two games due to suspension.
Revolution Can Do a Lot Better
So…the New England Revolution lost to the New York Red Bulls and fell to twelfth place in the Eastern Conference. It was a close game in which an own goal made the difference. Plus, both finished with 10 players after Adam Buksa and Frankie Amaya got a red card.
Despite the result, there was some good news as center-back Henry Kessler returned after a long-term injury.
The bothersome thing – is that was New England’s third loss in five games. Last regular season, they only lost five games, so what’s happening? Well, I think the word overconfident sums things up. Don’t get me wrong, they do have reasons to be a confident team, but they need to start winning ASAP. Otherwise, head coach Bruce Arena could lose his job.
The Revolution dominates the soccer odds thanks to a +125 price, however, being the favorite isn’t a guarantee anymore. They were favorites in their previous three games and lost all three with a 7-3 aggregate.
So…what do they need to turn things around? Well, basically that Carles Gil, current MVP, wakes up. Also, that goalkeeper Matt Turner comes back. He has been dealing with some minor injuries and remains questionable.

Inter CF vs Revolution Prediction
Like I said last week, it’s time for the New England Revolution to start meeting expectations. I’m sure all they need is to regain some confidence and Inter Miami is the perfect opponent to do so. Now, I do expect the home side to put up a good fight, especially if Turner doesn’t play again. That being said, my soccer predictions are the total to go over – both must go all-in.
Score Prediction: New England Revolution 3, Inter Miami CF 2
