Italy: Injury Issues

Missing several players, including the likes of Serie A’s top scorer Ciro Immobile, long-term injury victim Federico Chiesa, Domenico Berardi, Marco Verratti, and Roma’s Nicolo Zaniolo, Mancini used an unfamiliar lineup against Argentina. There could be numerous changes to the starting XI against Germany on Saturday.
Italy captain Giorgio Chiellini played his last match for his country against Argentina and warned a difficult period awaits Italy as Roberto Mancini bids to get the Azzurri back on track. Mancini has already declared that the rejuvenation of the squad is about to unfold. He needs time in order to rebuild and the Nations League is the best competition for a transitional squad. Germany: Full Strength
Following the relative failures of a last-16 exit at the Euros and being beaten to a place in the Nations League finale by Spain, the new-look Die Mannschaft are ready to show their power and use this competition to prepare for November’s World Cup.
They enjoyed a superb qualifying campaign, winning nine of 10 games and scoring 36 goals in the process, but they had not played against any team from the top 10 of FIFA’s rankings until a 1-1 draw with the Netherlands in March.

The Germans are eyeing yet another successful campaign, but beating Italy in Bologna is easier said than done. Still, the value is on the visitors and if you’re betting online, sometimes you must go with the underdogs.
Germany has already embedded several of their next-gen super players over the course of the last year, and many have won their spots in the squad. Still, Hansi Flick is expected to use many experienced players like Thomas Muller, Antonio Rudiger, or Joshua Kimmich. Leroy Sane, Werner, and Gundogan Havertz all made the cut.

Germany scored at least two goals in nine of their previous 10 games across all competitions. Three of Italy’s last five matches have witnessed fewer than three goals scored, while both of Germany’s last two matches have also produced a maximum of two goals.
