Bottoms Up? Not for La Liga Parlay

Betis is moving quickly from weekend’s events as they travel to play bottom-placed Levante while Valencia has a great opportunity to return to winning ways on Sunday against relegation-threatened Alaves. Our sportsbook is offering a great price for this weekend’s parlay.

Levante vs. Betis: Value on Visitors

Manuel Pellegrini’s Betis are sitting third in the standings with 40 points earned in 23 games. They enter this clash on the back of a 2-0 home defeat to Villarreal, but they are favorites to win this clash  at +105 on the three-way moneyline according to the latest soccer odds.

Real Betis are closing in on Champions League qualification for the first time since 2005, but Pellegrini insisted that they must play every remaining game of the season like a cup final. Under their Chilean manager, they’ve been given hope of returning to play among Europe’s elite on the Champions League stage. They beat Real Sociedad in the quarterfinals of the Copa del Rey, but they saw their five-game unbeaten run come to an end last weekend vs. Villarreal.

They’re four points clear of fifth-place Atlético Madrid, the defending champions, but they have Barcelona breathing down their neck, just two points behind them. They are one of the best road teams in the league, with six wins in 11 away games and 18 goals scored in the process. They are also alive in the Europa League and will play Zenit next Thursday for their playoff clash.

Betis has scored 41 goals in their first 23 games in La Liga this season, their highest tally at this stage of the season since 1996. They’ve exceeded expectations and have a genuine shot at a top-four finish. The likes of Juanmi and Nabil Fekir have excelled in their attacking roles and will look to make their mark in this fixture.

On the other side, Levante is sitting dead last in the league after 23 rounds, with just 11 points earned. They have the worst defense in their domestic league with 46 points allowed and they’ve won just one in 11 home games, conceding 17 goals in the process.

We don’t understand why Betis are priced at +105 but we’ll take it as an early Easter gift. Betis are one of the teams we love to include in our soccer picks and parlays because they are very reliable when they’ve playing against lower opposition.

Pick: Betis at +105

Alaves vs. Valencia: Tread with Caution

Valencia was very busy in the January transfer window, adding some more value to their squad. They signed Swiss defender Eray Comert from Basel, central midfielder Ilaix Moriba from RB Leipzig and probably the most important one, Bryan Gil from Tottenham. Unfortunately, they failed to beat Real Sociedad last weekend, and they remain 11th in the standings with just 30 points earned in 23 games.

They enter this clash on the back of five winless La Liga games, losing three, but they qualified in the Copa del Rey semifinals after beating Cadiz 2-1. They destroyed Alaves in the reverse match, beating them 3-0 on home soil. Goncalo Guedes is their most in-form player, with five goals scored in his last nine appearances across all competitions. He also scored against Alaves in the reverse fixture, and we expect him to repeat that on Sunday.

They are priced at +155 to win this clash, but we should tread with caution because Valencia are the kings of the draw in La Liga with nine of their 23 games ending in that fashion. On top of that, they lost five of their 11 away games, allowing 23 goals.

On the other side, having the worst attacking team in the league with just 17 goals netted in 23 goals, Alaves are sitting 19th in the standings, six points behind the first salvation spot occupied by Mallorca. If you’re betting online, you shouldn’t only look at the stats, but you should also check the form of the two teams and also the value of the squad.

Alaves is winless in their previous 11 La Liga fixtures, and they failed to find the back of the net in three of their last four league games. This is the perfect opportunity for Valencia to return to winning ways, but we’re not going with the straight win because we really want to win this parlay.

Pick: Valencia PK (-125)
