Leeds: Back on track
It’s an unusually abnormal situation that sees Leeds face Man United in the league just a few days after their reverse fixture. But the re-arranged midweek game couldn’t be squeezed in elsewhere, which is why this tricky scenario has crept up.

Pascal Struijk is a huge doubt for Leeds after picking up a head injury at Old Trafford while Luis Sinisterra was also sent off early. The players who came from the bench were not at the same level. Marc Roca and Liam Cooper are pushing for recalls while Rodrigo Moreno and Adam Forshaw are still missing. Young Italian forward Willy Gnonto is on fire for Leeds. His quality, his pace and his one-on-one skills are amazing and we expect him to once again be at his best against the Red Devils, so if you’re betting online you should back him to contribute on the scoresheet.
Man United: Injury Issues
Marcus Rashford scored for a sixth successive league appearance at Old Trafford to cut the lead in half on the hour mark before Jadon Sancho netted the equalizer eight minutes later with his only third Premier League goal of the season. Bruno Fernandes was instrumental in Man United’s midweek comeback and he’ll be the leader once again.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka could be back for the visitors after illness kept him out of the midweek action. Antony also sat the game out but Erik ten Hag has not revealed a time frame for his comeback from a leg injury. Christian Eriksen, Scott McTominay, Anthony Martial and Donny van de Beek remain out while Casemiro is banned.
Casemiro’s ban is by far the biggest blow for the visitors. The Brazilian international is not only a starter but probably the most important player in the squad. The Red Devils find themselves in third position and should have enough to finish in the top four. They have a huge clash with Barcelona next week in the Europa League, so they must be careful not to lose more players. We won’t include them in our soccer picks and parlays because they are missing too many players and their away record is not top-notch.

Leeds lost 4-2 at this venue last season but hasn’t lost consecutive home league games against Man United since October 1976. In fact, the Red Devils have scored four or more goals in three different Premier League away games against Leeds.
