MLS reigning champion Los Angeles FC is determined to return to the winning column after a couple of games in which the club didn’t look like itself. According to the latest soccer odds, it shouldn’t have too much trouble doing so, but keep in mind that FC Dallas hasn’t lost since the season opener.
Los Angeles FC: Unbeaten
Los Angeles FC has played only three games since its season opener was canceled due to bad weather, remaining unbeaten thanks to a 2-1-0 record while advancing to the quarterfinals of the CONCACAF Champions League.
On Saturday, it drew 0-0 to the Seattle Sounders on the road, losing possession with 42% and finishing with fewer shots than the Sounders.
Things have been completely different when playing at home, where it already defeated the Portland Timbers and the New England Revolution, scoring three and four goals, making it very clear that we’re talking about one of the best-attacking units in the league.
The reigning champ, who has only drawn 0-0 twice since 2019, dominates the soccer lines thanks to a -170 price, even though it’ll be short-handed due to the international break. Denis Bounga, Jose Cifuentes, Diego Palacios and Denil Maldonado won’t be available.
FC Dallas: From Behind
FC Dallas opened the season with a 1-0 loss to Minnesota United. Since then, the Burn are 2-1-0. Dallas hasn’t conceded more than one goal in any match and Jesus Ferreira is one of the league’s top scorers.
On Saturday, Dallas had to come from behind to beat Sporting Kansas City 2-1. Daniel Salloi scored the opener only 11 minutes into the game, but the Burn didn’t despair and turned things around in the second half with Alan Velasco and Ferreira as the scorers.
While Dallas has only played one game on the road, a 1-1 draw against the Vancouver Whitecaps, it already faced the other team from Hollywood and won 3-1. Ferreira also scored in that game. Dallas is 11-2-1 in the 14 matches Ferreira has scored since the start of last season.
Ferreira alone should be enough for you to consider including the visitors in your soccer picks, especially at +435.
Alan Velasco picked his spot 😎

Los Angeles FC vs FC Dallas Picks & Prediction
Los Angeles FC will truly miss Bounga, the team’s top scorer with five goals in all competitions, but Carlos Vela will be on the pitch. Plus, LAFC lost its last home match against Alajuelense in the CCL, and it has never lost consecutive home matches in all competitions in the club’s history. That being said, FC Dallas won’t be affected as much as LAFC by the international break, meaning it will put up a good fight led by Ferreira, which is why my soccer betting prediction is a draw.
The Los Angeles FC are listed at -170 in our Vegas Soccer lines. This means that if you wager $100 on Los Angeles, you have a chance to win $59. The FC Dallas are +435, offering a chance to win $435 on a $100 wager.
