Manchester City Rules Premier League
Chelsea, Liverpool Unable to Keep Pace at Top of Table
If you have any doubts about Pep Guardiola being one of the best head coaches in the world, stop it. Just stop it. Manchester City had a very rocky start, but now is the huge betting online favorite to win the English Premier League title.
Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United won’t stop fighting, though. That’s why the Premier League is considered the best in the world.

English Premier League Breakdown
Huge Advantage
Manchester City hasn’t lost since late October. They’re on an 11-game winning streak, including beating Manchester United, West Ham United and Leicester City.
Most recently, they defeated Arsenal 2-1, exactly like we predicted. Bukayo Saka scored for the Gunners in the first half, but the Citizens took over after halftime. They finished with 72 percent of possession, allowing Riyad Mahrez and Rodri to score and turn things around.
No other team has scored more goals than City (53), but that’s not all. They also own the best defensive record after allowing only 13 goals in 21 matches.
Because this weeked will be dedicated to the FA Cup, Manchester City’s next EPL game will be when it plays host to Chelsea on Jan. 15. The Blues, who are sitting in second place, simply can’t afford to lose. Otherwise, the gap between them will increase to 13 points.
I’m not saying the Blues will win, but they sure are a very tempting soccer betting underdog at +445.
Believe it or not, Liverpool has gone three straight games without winning. To be fair, they faced three of the best teams in the league (Tottenham, Chelsea, and Leicester City), but still.
The Reds are still in the race, but they can’t lose anymore. They shouldn’t have too much trouble beating Brentford, their next opponent. Be sure to include them in your soccer picks at -360.
Antonio Conte’s Effect
We need to talk about Tottenham. Since Antonio Conte took over as head coach, the Spurs haven’t lost. They own a 5-3-0 record, have scored 14 goals and allowed only two.
Most recently, they defeated Watford with a very late goal from Davinson Sanchez, a central defender. That’s Conte’s effect: Fight until the end and every single player on the pitch can become a striker. That’s how he won the Italian Serie A title with Inter Milan.
The Spurs are sitting in sixth place, 20 points behind Manchester City, but their main goal isn’t the title. Their focus is on returning to the UEFA Champions League. They need to finish in the top four to accomplish that.
They’ll face Arsenal in Fixture 22. It’s going to be a close one, but the Spurs at +140 is simply too good to not take it.
Relegation Zone
Burnley, Newcastle, and Norwich haven’t won in their last four games. That’s why they’re sitting in the relegation zone. Newcastle and Norwich also have allowed 42 goals each.
The good news for Newcastle and Burnley is that they’re one victory away from getting out. They just need Watford to lose its sixth straight game. Newcastle controls the situation because they’ll play host to Watford on Jan. 15. The home side is offering a -105 price.
On the other hand, Burnley will collide with Leicester City as the online gambling underdog at +240.
The Pharaoh
Liverpool not winning hasn’t prevented Mohamed Salah from scoring. The Pharaoh scored one goal against Chelsea and increased its advantage at the league’s scoring chart to six goals. He alone has scored more goals (16) than two teams.
Diogo Jota, Salah’s teammate, is next with 10 goals. However, if there’s a player who can compete with Salah for the Golden Boot, that’s Cristiano Ronaldo. He has scored eight goals and Manchester United depends too much on him.
The Portuguese striker is currently offering a +800 price to win the Golden Boot. If you include him in your soccer picks with a $100 bet, your payout would be $900.
