There are several candidates for MLS Game of the Week, but if you ask me, Nashville SC vs FC Cincinnati would be the winner. First, both are among the Eastern Conference top four. Second, no other team has allowed fewer goals than Nashville. Third, Cincinnati is one of the two teams that remain unbeaten. In the end, playing at home is what makes the Six Strings the favorites in the soccer odds.
Nashville SC: Determined to Bounce Back
Last weekend, Nashville SC put up a good fight on the road against the New England Revolution but ended up losing 1-0. Curiously enough, the Six Strings won possession with 52% and finished with 16 shots in total, six more than the Revs.
The good news is that they’ve had no trouble winning at home, where they already defeated New York City FC and CF Montreal. Both finished 2-0 with Jacob Shaffelburg scoring one goal in each. Including last season’s final stretch, the Six Strings have won five of their last seven home games.
As if that wasn’t enough, let’s not forget that Nashville’s attacking unit is led by current MVP and Golden Boot winner Hany Mukhtar. He hasn’t scored this season but that’s a matter of time. In the meantime, Shaffelburg and Teal Bunbury can take care of business. Even C.J. Sapong, who has been coming off the bench.
Having a deep, talented roster is another reason for the Six Strings to dominate the soccer lines at -110. And as mentioned before, there’s also the fact that they own the best defensive unit in the league alongside the Seattle Sounders.
FC Cincinnati: Goal-Fest
FC Cincinnati’s last match was a goal-fest. The Orange and Blue visited the Chicago Fire as underdogs in the Las Vegas soccer odds but managed to snatch a point thanks to two late goals. They were down 3-1 until Sergio Santos and Junior Moreno scored in the 84th and 87th minute respectively. It marked the first time Cincy had collected a point in a match in which it trailed by multiple goals at any point, meaning you can expect them to be highly motivated.
Their other road game also finished with a draw, 0-0 against Orlando City, and there’s more good news because Nick Hagglund will return after missing the game in Chicago due to suspension.
The Orange and Blue don’t scare easily. In fact, they haven’t lost in their last eight road games. They could rewrite history on Saturday since no team has gone unbeaten in nine straight road games since 2013.
All of the above makes the visitors a tempting soccer betting underdog, especially at +305 since that gives you the chance to win $305 per every $100 wagered on them.

Nashville SC vs FC Cincinnati Picks and Prediction
There’s always a first time for everything, but FC Cincinnati will have to wait a bit longer for their first victory over Nashville SC. Not because they come in as the online gambling underdogs, but because the Six Strings turned Geodis Park into a fortress. That doesn’t mean I don’t expect them to put up a good fight. In fact, my betting online recommendation is to wager on the draw since three of their four encounters in Nashville have finished with a draw.
