Their coach admitted after the draw with Spain that he wouldn’t have imagined that his side would boast such a tally at this point.
Should the Czech Republic be able to pull off the upset and deliver a win this Thursday, they might just get the chance to make it to the knockouts of the tournament — or at least secure their League A spot for the next edition of the competition. They are well organized and compact defensively and they will definitely have a defensive approach and try to strike on the break. The Czechs will surely not afford to offer Manchester United forward Ronaldo the same freedom he enjoyed at the weekend against Switzerland.
Patrik Schick is injured at the moment and has been ruled out of this fixture. The Czechs will need to field their best team to stand a chance in this fixture.
