After losing 2-1 to AZ Alkmaar, Ajax won its three next games with a 10-0 aggregate. Most recently, they defeated Utrecht 3-0 on the road with Brian Brobbey as the Man of the Match after scoring twice.
Precisely, Brobbey is one of the reasons why Haller hasn’t been missed. The 19-year-old striker returned just in time after playing the first half of the season for RB Leipzig in Germany.
The reigning champs also have Danilo Pereira, who scored four goals in their midweek 9-0 victory over Excelsior Maassluis. No, that’s not a typo, and yes, Ajax also advanced to the Dutch Cup Quarterfinals without any trouble.
There shouldn’t be any doubt about Ajax dominating the Las Vegas odds for this one. We’re talking about the top scoring team in the league with an average of 3.1 goals per game. That’s not all, they also are the best defensive team after allowing only four goals in 19 games.
