Don’t get me wrong, Benzema is an awesome player, but I wanted to give the entire team some credit. In fact, Benzema is expected to return in the Derby, making Madrid an even more dangerous team. He leads the league’s scoring chart with 12 goals.
Real Madrid would deserve to be the betting online favorite even if Benzema doesn’t recuperate. Vinicius Junior has scored 10 goals and can lead the attack. Luka Jovic has regained some confidence after playing two straight games. Also, Marco Asensio scored against Inter Milan and is proving he’s ready to increase the workload after coming back from injury.
Los Blancos haven’t lost at Santiago Bernabeu. They’re 5-2-0 and scored in five of those games. They also finished with a clean sheet three times. I think Thibaut Courtois is finally meeting expectations. He has become a true leader on and off the field.
