Soccer Betting Odds: Favorites to win the UEFA Champions League – February 9
After a long break, the UEFA Champions League will be back next week with the first leg of the Round of 16. The reigning champions (Bayern Munich) are still in the mix, but they will be facing a tough test.
Let’s take a look at the Round of 16 series and how the sports betting odds to win the most beloved soccer trophy, regarding clubs, have changed. Be sure to check all the Champions League odds at our online sportsbook.

February 16/17
RB Leipzig vs Liverpool
Liverpool are not having a good time in the English Premier League; they are 10 points away from first place (potentially 13). That’s why Jurgen Klopp and the “Reds” have to concentrate on winning the Champions League, a tournament they won two seasons ago.
Last season, RB Leipzig advanced all the way to the semifinals (lost against PSG). This season, they already beat PSG (2-1) and Manchester United (3-2) during the Group Stage, proving that they can beat anybody.
Right now, Liverpool offer +550 odds to win the Champions League, while RB Leipzig are +3000.
Barcelona vs PSG
One of the most interesting Rounds of 16 series. Barcelona come as the slight favorite (+140) for Game 1, but don’t forget that PSG have Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Mauro Icardi, one of the best offensive units in Europe.
You can expect several goals as both teams scored 13+ goals during the Group Stage. Last season, PSG lost the grand finale against Bayern Munich, and now offer a +1000 value, while Barcelona offer a +1600 value.
Sevilla vs Borussia Dortmund
Both teams finished the Group Stage with a 4-1-1 record. Collectively, Sevilla and Borussia Dortmund are very similar, which is why the difference could be some specific players such as Erling Haaland (Borussia Dortmund), who’s one of the current Champions League season top scorers alongside Alvaro Morata with six goals.
None of these teams is among the favorites to win the Champions League; Sevilla offer a +4000 value, while Borussia Dortmund +2000.
Porto vs Juventus
Cristiano Ronaldo is on fire. He recently became the top scorer in soccer’s history and that’s why you can never rule Juventus out. Now, they also have Alvaro Morata, who leads the current season Champions League scoring chart with six goals, and they offer a +1600 value to win the cup.
Porto won the UEFA Champions League in 2003-04 with Jose Mourinho. Since then, they haven’t been even close. That’s why Porto appear at the bottom of the odds to win the Champions League with a +15000 value.
February 23/24
Atletico Madrid vs Chelsea
Atletico Madrid was a huge favorite against Chelsea, but then Chelsea fired Frank Lampard and hired Thomas Tuchel as their new manager. Since then, Chelsea haven’t lost in their last four English Premier League games.
The Spanish side remain as the favorite (they lead La Liga), but Tuchel has plenty of experience, including the last Champions League grand finale with PSG (lost against Bayern Munich).
Surprisingly enough, Chelsea offers a +1200 value to win the tournament, while Atletico Madrid +1600.
Lazio vs Bayern Munich
Of course, the reigning champions are favorites to repeat, but first, they have to beat Lazio, a very well-balanced team that didn’t lose in the Group Stage.
Bayern Munich offer a +275 value to win the title once again. Bayern didn’t lose either during the Group Stage; they scored 18 goals (best in the tournament) and allowed just five.
Lazio offer a +10000 value to win it all.
Atalanta vs Real Madrid
Real Madrid and Zinedine Zidane are not having a good time over La Liga, but we all know that the relationship between Real Madrid and the UEFA Champions League is special, that’s why you can rule them out.
Atalanta already beat powerhouses such as Liverpool, so it won’t be easy for Real Madrid to advance. Right now, Real Madrid offer a +1200 value (fifth), while Atalanta offer a +3000 value (last season Atalanta advanced to the Round of 8).
Borussia Monchengladbach vs Manchester City
Borussia Monchengladbach fought bravely against Real Madrid and Inter Milan to advance to the Round of 16, but the “Citizens” are a completely different story. Right now, they lead the English Premier League and haven’t lost in their last 10 games, including a huge 4-1 victory at Anfield against Liverpool.
Manchester City come after Bayern Munich in the favorites list thanks to a +350 value, while Borussia Monchengladbach come at the bottom with a +15000 value.
