Stick With Props Bets for Real Madrid vs Getafe

After starting the La Liga season with three straight games on the road, Real Madrid will finally return home to face Getafe, which managed to win a point against Barcelona, the other soccer betting favorite to win the title.

Real Madrid controls the all-time series thanks to a 24-4-6 record, and they come in as the favorites at -303, but keep in mind that they suffered tremendously to defeat Los Azulones last season, even at home.

Halftime-Fulltime Top Prop

Real Madrid is undefeated, but that doesn’t mean that Los Blancos haven’t suffered. In the season opener against Athletic Club, Rodrygo Goes and Jude Bellingham scored in an eight-minute span during the first half. Later, Athletic Club controlled the game.

A week later, against Almeria, Real Madrid had to come from behind. They ended up winning 3-1 after the first half finished 1-1. Most recently, they defeated Celta de Vigo 1-0 thanks to a goal scored in the 81st minute.

I expect Los Blancos to fulfill their role as betting online favorites, but I also expect Getafe to make them suffer a bit. That’s why I like the Halftime-Fulltime prop draw-Real Madrid, which is offering a +275 price. That gives you the chance of winning $275 per every $100 wagered.

Getafe to Fail to Hit Scoresheet

Again, I expect Real Madrid to suffer, but that doesn’t mean they can’t win comfortably. After all, Los Blancos have finished with a clean sheet twice and Getafe has only scored one goal in three games. Plus, Los Azulones failed to score in each of their last five visits to Madrid.

There’s also the fact that, including last season’s final stretch, Getafe failed to score in four of its last five games on the road. Finally, goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, Real Madrid’s latest addition, already played and in great fashion. So, go ahead and bet on No on both teams to score, which is offering a -175 price in the La Liga lines. That’s way lower than the home side’s moneyline.

Corners a Betting Option

Regardless of the result, you know Real Madrid will control possession and will attack right from the start. In each of their first three games, Los Blancos finished with five corners.

As for Getafe, they average three corners per game. It’s hard to finish with more when you heavily rely on the counter-attack. And let’s not forget that they already faced Barcelona. Therefore, I recommend you include 6-8 corners at +175 in your soccer picks.

Three Picks for Anytime Goalscorer

First things first: Make sure to erase Vinicius Junior from the candidates list. The Brazilian will miss four to six weeks due to injury. Keeping that in mind, Rodrygo Goes, Joselu Mato and Jude Bellingham should be on your radar.

Goes, who’s offering a +135 price, has started in all three matches and already scored one goal. Last week, he had a great chance to score again, but missed from the penalty spot. As for Bellingham, who’s +200, he’s the league’s top scorer with four goals. Considering he’s not a striker, that’s pretty impressive.

Finally, we’ve Joselu Mato. Real Madrid signed Mato to be Karim Benzema’s replacement. No, he’s not as good as the Frenchman, but he finished the 2022-23 season with 16 goals while playing for Espanyol. Usually, he’s not a starter, but last week, he replaced Junior after the injury.

This is a great opportunity for Mato to score his first goal. Bet on him at +150.
