On the other side, AS Monaco is one of the best home teams in the league, with 21 points in 11 games. The team won six of those games, scoring 23 goals in the process. They’re two points behind the top four, eager to return to winning ways after losing, 3-2, to Montpellier before the international break. Lyon have a great record against AS Monaco, beating them in five of their previous six domestic-league mutual encounters, including a 2-0 win in the reverse fixture back in October, 2021.
