These Are Our Best Soccer Picks for a Weekend Parlay Bet

Liverpool is one of our main picks for this weekend’s parlay bet along with some Bundesliga, Serie A, and La Liga teams. It’s a great soccer betting card and we expect our parlay to hit at +873 odds.

Bundesliga Parlay Pick: Hoffenheim vs Stuttgart Over 3 Goals (-140)

After two consecutive victories, Hoffenheim’s push for Europe took a hit last weekend following a 3-1 defeat in Frankfurt.

It doesn’t help the situation that one of the league’s strongest attacking outfits rolls into town on the weekend. Stuttgart has been exceptional this year, winning six of their last seven Bundesliga fixtures to create an 11-point gap between them and RB Leipzig in 5th place.

This superb rise has not gone unnoticed by Julian Nagelsmann, selecting four VfB Stuttgart players for the upcoming international camp.

Hoffenheim is currently enduring a 20-game wait for a league clean sheet, the longest ongoing streak in the Bundesliga, so we’re backing the over for our first soccer parlay pick.

Serie A Parlay Pick: AC Milan ML (-140) vs Verona

Following six games without a win, Hellas Verona hauled themselves away from the Serie A relegation zone thanks to back-to-back 1-0 victories over fellow strugglers Sassuolo and Lecce.

However, AC Milan is unbeaten against Verona in their last 10 matches, winning eight. If you’re betting online, you should fade Verona here.

Milan just booked their place in the Europa League quarter-finals after a 7-3 aggregate victory over Slavia Prague.

Rafael Leao has been all-action of late, scoring three goals, assisting three more, and picking up three yellow cards across his last five appearances, while he netted the winner in Milan’s 1-0 win in September’s reverse fixture. If you love soccer player props, he is the player to watch.

FA Cup Parlay Pick: Liverpool ML (-122) vs Manchester United

The month saw the one-year anniversary of Liverpool’s 7-0 humiliation of Man United at Anfield, and Red Devils fans will surely be worrying about a repeat. However, United has had a largely good start to 2024, winning eight of their 11 games across all competitions, though there have been two defeats to Fulham and Manchester City.

Three of those eight victories have come in the FA Cup, with wins over Wigan, Newport County, and Nottingham Forest.

But Liverpool is a beast. Even with their injury issues, there seems to be no stopping them from winning. They have already lifted the EFL Cup and sit joint-top of the Premier League table, as well as sailing through to the Europa League quarter-finals with an 11-2 aggregate victory over Sparta Prague.

This could be a bad defeat for Man United. Although they did prevent Liverpool from scoring earlier this season, Man Utd also failed to find the net. Liverpool is priced at -122 in our latest soccer odds, and we will back them for our third pick of the parlay.

La Liga Parlay Pick: Atletico Madrid vs Barcelona Over 2½, 3 Goals (-120)

Atletico Madrid and Barcelona square off in a La Liga fixture on Sunday with both teams on a high after Champions League progress. Both appear evenly matched at the moment with little to separate them.

The reverse fixture at Barcelona’s home turf ended in a 1-0 win for the hosts. Barcelona is now on a nine-match unbeaten streak across all competitions and will enter this match following a 1-3 UCL victory against Napoli.

Atletico was unbeaten in three of the past five matches and will enter this match following a 3-1 UCL pre-quarter win against Inter Milan. Atletico Madrid won eight of the past nine matches at home across all competitions.

These two teams are likely to enter the scoresheet on Sunday. The highly competitive character of this match inclines us to back the over as the main pick here.

Questions of the Day

Who might replace Jurgen Klopp as Liverpool manager?

Leverkusen’s Xavi Alonso is the perfect fit for Liverpool. The ex-Liverpool midfielder is currently at the top of the Bundesliga with Bayer Leverkusen.
The Spaniard is under contract until 2026 though there were reports of a clause that allows him to walk away for any of his former clubs.

Where will AC Milan’s star Rafa Leao play after he leaves this summer?

The Portuguese winger has been a nightmare to defenders in the Italian Serie A for the better part of the past four years. Leao has told close friends he’s reached the end of a cycle in Italy and intends to move abroad to win more titles.
Barcelona might’ve been alerted to Leao’s availability given their lack of depth on the left but PSG is the favorite team to sign him as Kylian Mbappe is getting ready to leave the French club.
