Top Three Prop Bets for Australia vs France Women’s World Cup Match

Hayley Raso and Australia are ready to face Kadidiatou Diani and France in the Women’s World Cup 2023 Quarterfinals. Australia will try to reach the Semifinals for the first time, while France will try to do it for the second time – first since the 2011 edition. You can expect a back-and-forth battle, like it happened in July.

Time to check which soccer betting props are the best to increase your winning chances.

Winning Margin

While Australia is 3-0-1, France is 3-1-0. Two of Australia’s matches finished with a one-goal difference. The same happened in one of France’s games. Plus, they drew 0-0 against Jamaica, a team that was playing in its second World Cup.

I do expect goals from both. After all, two of the tournament’s top scorers will be on the pitch: Raso (three goals) and Diani (four). Plus, Australia has scored in each of their four games, while France recently crushed Morocco 4-0. France has scored at least four goals in two games.

Time to make a pick, and I recommend you to bet on the draw. That’s right, I believe regular time will finish with a draw, which is offering a +350 price in the sportsbook. That’s better than the +230 that the draw is offering over the moneyline.

I’m going with Australia. Why? Because France is the most experienced team. France is well-known for believing that the best defense is a good offense and has two players with at least three goals; Diani and Eugenie Le Sommer.

On the other hand, Australia’s main strength is its defense. They have conceded three goals, but all were in the same match. That means that they’ve finished with a clean sheet in three of their four games.

Australia heavily relies on the counterattack, and this time won’t be any different. Australia scoring last is offering a +150 price in the soccer lines. Keep in mind that the final score doesn’t matter, the bet is a win as long as Australia scores the last goal of the game.

Total Corners

Australia is well-known for relying on the counterattack, but that doesn’t mean that they aren’t dangerous. Here’s a good example: they lost possession against Denmark in the Round of 16 but won the match 2-0, taking the same shots on goal as their rivals. Australia finished the match with four corners, two more than Denmark.

As for France, they’ve finished with at least five corners in three of their previous four matches, taking 12 corners against Jamaica. Make sure to keep an eye on centre-back Wendie Renard, who’s great through the air. That’s why I recommend you include 9-11 corners in your soccer picks at +175.

Once again, it doesn’t matter which team got more corners. If the total corners finish between 9 and 11, you win the bet, even if France took eight and Australia only took two. However, set pieces can make a huge difference in close games. Believe me, they both know that and will try to take advantage of it.
