Torino: Struggling in Final Third

It looked like a platform to build upon for a team that should be in the top half of the table based on its history and support but has found that to be a struggle of late. It’s difficult to cope with the loss of Andrea Belotti and Bremer. If their new recruits click, it could still be a decent season. AC Milan: Reigning Champs
AC Milan’s defeat at home to Napoli back in September has been the key divider between them in recent weeks. But they are well placed to erase the gap if they can remain consistent in the weeks ahead. They are sitting second in the standings, just three points behind the leaders.
The visitors are solid favorites to go on and win this one, with a four-game winning streak following that Napoli loss, compared to Torino’s return of one win in six league games. Despite their strong run, Milan has not been as solid defensively as Stefano Pioli would like, keeping just one clean sheet in their previous seven games.
Their main keeper, Mike Maignan, will be out until after the World Cup, and that forces Milan to rely on backup keeper Ciprian Tatarusanu. Maignan was a vital part of Pioli’s Milan squad last season and played a key role in their Scudetto success. Tatarusanu is not at his level.
AC Milan is also one game away from qualifying in the Champions League after beating Dinamo Zagreb 4-0 in the midweek action.
