Juventus on Verge of a Crisis
Prior to the start of the season, Juventus were one of the betting online favorites to dethrone AC Milan as Serie A champions. Well, after nine games, the Bianconeri are 10 points out of first place. As if that wasn’t enough, they’re practically eliminated from the UEFA Champions League after losing against the weakest opponent in the group.
As for Torino, the Granata only won one of their last five games and they haven’t had much luck when facing the powerhouses. Even so, it looks like the perfect opportunity to defeat Juventus for the first time since the 2014-15 season.

Torino: Tough Luck
We haven’t reached the 10-game mark and Torino already faced Napoli, Atalanta and Inter Milan. Napoli and Atalanta are currently at the top of the standings while Inter Milan are always in the title race.
The Granata lost all three games, 3-1 against Napoli and Atalanta, and 1-0 against Inter Milan. Now, they’ll face Juventus and AC Milan in a 15-day span.

They also have Aleksei Miranchuk, who’s on loan from Atalanta. In other words, the Granata have plenty of weapons to hurt one of the best defensive units in the league.
Collectively, the Granata have been a more reliable soccer pick when playing at home as they only lost one of their last seven games. That’s why they’re a very tempting underdog, especially at +210.
Juventus Reeling
Disappointing is the best word to describe Juventus’ season so far. The Bianconeri are eighth in the Serie A. If the season ended today, they wouldn’t even qualify for the UEFA Conference League. That’s just sad.
Most recently, in the Serie A, they lost 2-0 to AC Milan. They won possession with 61 percent but took 11 shots less. The Rossoneri scored at the end of the first half and at the beginning of the second.
Midweek, they visited Maccabi Haifa and lost 2-0, making them fall to last place in Group H of the Champions League. They’re five points behind PSG and Benfica. They’ll visit the Eagles at the end of the month and will play host to the Parisians in early November.
Summing up, things don’t look good for the Bianconeri, and losing to Torino could leave head coach Massimiliano Allegri without a job. Fortunately for him, we’re still talking about a very talented squad, which includes one of the league’s top scorers in Dusan Vlahovic. The Serbian has scored five goals. Only Ciro Immobile (Lazio) and Marko Arnautovic (Bologna) have scored more with six. Basically, he’s the reason for the Bianconeri to dominate the soccer lines at +145.
