Leverkusen won the second leg, on the road, in each of its last three UEL series. This season, it defeated AS Monaco 3-2 and Ferencvaros 2-0.
Patrick Schick remains out due to injury, but don’t worry; Moussa Diaby will be available. The French striker is having a great season, scoring 13 goals in all competitions. Needless to say, he’s the main reason for you to consider including Leverkusen in your soccer picks.
A victory would also allow the club to rewrite history since it hasn’t won in Belgium since 1997. That, alongside the semifinals ticket, should be enough motivation.
Union Saint Gilloise vs Leverkusen Head-to-Head
The first leg was the first time that these two met. Bayer Leverkusen was heavily favored in the Las Vegas odds but couldn’t win. In fact, Victor Boniface scored the opener for the Belgian side, while Florian Wirtz scored the equalizer in the final stretch.
Leverkusen won possession with 64% and finished with 15 shots, seven more than the visitors. It must improve its aim if it wants to win the second leg.
