Arsenal won four of their last five games. However, the Gunners come in as the soccer betting underdogs vs Manchester United at +270. Losing 4-0 to Liverpool didn’t help their case.

The Red Devils managed to draw 1-1 to Chelsea in the last fixture. That wasn’t enough for Michael Carrick to remain in command as interim head coach. Ralf Rangnick was recently appointed and will be watching from the stands. Let’s check the latest news, stats, injury reports, and soccer lines for United vs Arsenal. We’ve plenty of predictions for you to consider.

Arsenal Going for the Kill

Arsenal has been a tempting underdog when online gambling since the beginning of the season. In fact, I picked them as my dark horse to win the title at +4500. Yes, they had a rocky start, but they’ve turned things around losing only one of their last 10 games.

Most recently, they beat Newcastle United 2-0, as they were supposed to do. If you want to be a serious contender, you can’t afford to lose points against last place. Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli were the scorers.

Defensively, that was their third clean sheet in their last four games. Bernd Leno better get used to the bench, because 23-year-old Aaron Ramsdale is doing an excellent job. Center back Ben White also deserves a lot of credit. He was a highly criticized signing, but he has become a true leader, on and off the field. Exactly what the Gunners needed.

They currently sit in fifth place with 23 points. A victory at Old Trafford could boost them up to fourth place.

Despite recent results, there’s a good reason for the Gunners to be underdogs against Manchester United. They aren’t consistent when playing on the road, as their 2-1-3 record shows. Also, Saka is questionable due to a minor injury, while Granit Xhaka and Sead Kolasinac are out.

Arsenal predicted lineup: Aaron Ramsdale; Takehiro Tomiyasu, Ben White, Gabriel dos Santos, Nuno Tavares; Thomas Partey, Albert Lokonga, Emile Smith Rowe, Martin Odegaard; Alexandre Lacazette, Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang.

Manchester United Resetting Hard Drive

Recent scores and odds don’t matter. You can’t underestimate a team that includes Cristiano Ronaldo. Especially if he’s surrounded by talented players such as Jadon Sancho, Bruno Fernandes, and Marcus Rashford.

Two weeks ago, the Red Devils suffered an embarrassing loss to Watford and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was sacked. Things have changed a lot since then. They went to Spain and beat Villarreal 2-0. Most recently, they went to Stamford Bridge and came back with one point. Only four teams have been able to win points against Chelsea.

They were huge underdogs (+475) against the Blues, but that’s not all. Raphael Varane, Harry Maguire, and Paul Pogba weren’t available, and they still put up a great fight. We’re talking about a much more confident, motivated team. Besides, having already secured a spot in the UCL Round of 16 allows them to focus on the EPL.

Ronaldo has scored 10 goals in all competitions since returning to the team after a 12-year absence. Regarding the EPL, he leads the team’s scoring chart with four goals, but he’s not alone. Fernandes and Mason Greenwood also sit at the top with four goals each.

Win or lose, you can expect goals when Manchester United plays. The Red Devils scored at least one goal in eight of their last 10 games. Defensively, they only managed to finish with a clean sheet twice.

Maguire is expected to be back, giving them more depth at the back. Eric Bailly and Victor Lindelof started against Chelsea and did a great job. However, the more the merrier, especially if you’re facing another member of the EPL Big Six.

Manchester United predicted lineup: David de Gea; Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof, Alex Telles; Fred, Scott McTominay, Bruno Fernandes, Jadon Sancho, Mason Greenwood; Cristiano Ronaldo.

United vs Arsenal Prediction

You won’t find a more tempting underdog than Arsenal. Nevertheless, all Manchester United players are eager to show their skills in front of the new manager.

Like I said before, you can expect goals. Arsenal scored two or more goals in four of their last five games. Plus, Ronaldo wants to show France Football they made a mistake by giving Lionel Messi his seventh Ballon d’Or. I think that’s the recipe for a very entertaining draw.

Score Prediction: Manchester United 2, Arsenal 2

Pick: Draw at +270
