Villarreal Unbeaten in 5 La Liga Games

La Liga Round 27 Parlay at +283

Following an impressive 5-1 win against Espanyol, Villarreal travels to play mid-table Osasuna on Saturday while Bilbao will be eager to improve their home form on Sunday against a revived but still bottom of the table, Levante. Our sportsbook is offering a great range of markets and props of the European top soccer leagues.

Osasuna vs Villarreal

Unai Emery managed not to get sacked after a poor start to his domestic campaign. There are plenty of elite clubs around Europe who, in identical circumstances, would have replaced him in a second. It’s important to note that during that poor run of form, the Yellow Submarine was without many of their star players, injured or with covid.

Villarreal is unbeaten in five La Liga games

The board decided to keep him and it looks like it was a perfect move because the Spanish manager is winning games week in and week out. Let’s not forget that the visitors are still playing in the Champions League. They were very unlucky not to beat Juventus in the first leg being kept to a 1-1 draw. In the Spanish La Liga, they are sitting seventh in the standings with 42 points picked up in 26 games, just two points behind the European spots.

They enter this clash high on confidence and they are favorites to win it being priced at +115 on the three-way moneyline according to the latest soccer odds.

They won four from their previous five domestic league games scoring at least two goals in each victory. Villarreal 19-year-old wonderkid Yeremi Pino scored four goals against Espanyol to rewrite history records.

He became the youngest player to score a La Liga brace for Villarreal at the age of 19 years and 130 days, the youngest-ever player to score a first-half hat-trick in La Liga, and the first player to score four goals in a single La Liga match since Leo Messi in February 2020.

On the other side, Osasuna has one of the worst attacking lines in the Spanish top-flight league. They netted just 25 goals in 26 games. Only Mallorca, Cadiz, and Alaves have scored less than them with two of the three sides sitting deep in the drop zone.

They enter this contest on the back of three defeats in a row without finding the back of the net. They are the second-worst home side in the league with just two wins in 13 games in front of their fans. Normally Villarreal should have no problems in winning this match but Osasuna are unpredictable so we won’t include an away win in our soccer picks and parlays.

We’ve seen both teams scoring at least three goals on the scoresheet each of the last eight mutual encounters between the two teams. The goal line is set at 2½ and we’re happy to take the over.

Pick: Over 2½ goals in the match at +105

Bilbao vs Levante

Bottom-placed Levante surprised everyone three rounds ago when they pulled off a huge upset beating reigning champs Atletico Madrid. They also managed to return home with one point from their trip to Celta Vigo and they enter Monday’s game on the back of a superb 3-0 home win against mid-table Elche.

On the other side, Bilbao has huge ups and downs both at home and on the road. They lost 3-2 to Mallorca on the road, they destroyed Real Sociedad 4-0 on home soil and they lost 4-0 to Barcelona away from home. They are still fighting for a European position but their inconsistency is telling us they have no chance to play next season in Europe.

They will surely play their chance till the end and they will try to return to winning ways against Levante, the worst defensive team in La Liga. Surprisingly, Levante managed to keep Bilbao to a goalless draw in the reverse fixture and will try to extend their unbeaten run. They are in desperate need of points as they are sitting seven points behind the first salvation spot. If you’re betting online, you must always check the underdog. We expect a closer match than the odds suggest so we’re taking Levante to cover the spread.

Pick: Levante +1 at -115
