- The Netherlands have picked up under 4.5 cards in nine of their last 10 matches.

Low on Cards, High on Goals
Whilst England are looking to return to the Euros Final after three years, the Netherlands are seeking to end a 36-year drought. Both teams will be leaving it all out on the pitch in what should be a fascinating encounter in Dortmund, and there’s reason to believe that they’ll serve up a goal-fest on Wednesday.
The Netherlands have scored over 2.5 goals in nine of their last 10 matches, and at -110, we’re backing their match against England to feature over 2 goals in our Euro betting parlays.
The Oranje conceded the opening goal for the third time in five matches as Turkiye took the lead before halftime, but they would respond in the 70th minute as Memphis Depay delivered a tempting cross towards Stefan de Vrij, who duly obliged with a powerful header. Ronald Koeman’s side has advanced to the Euro semifinals for the first time since 2004.
Neither team are particularly prone to inviting bookings onto themselves, but one player who will have to watch his temper is Jude Bellingham. In December 2021, Bellingham received a fine of €40,000 from the German FA for his post-match comments on referee Felix Zwayer after Borussia Dortmund’s 3-2 loss to Bayern Munich, when he stated, “You give a referee that has match-fixed before the biggest game in Germany – what do you expect?”
That was in reference to Zwayer’s six-month ban in 2005 for his involvement in a match-fixing scandal. Zwayer will be manning the show in what should be a high-scoring affair in terms of goals and a low-scoring affair in terms of cards.
Back Back Teams to Score in Euro Semifinal
England have been able to grind out narrow results and eke their way to victory by the thinnest of margins, doing just enough to fend off their opponent but never quite managing to convince under Gareth Southgate in terms of their performance.
Since beating Serbia 1-0 in their opener, England have not managed to come out on top across 90 minutes, sharing the spoils in a 1-1 draw vs. Denmark and drawing 0-0 to Slovenia before equalizing in the final seconds and taking the lead in the first second of extra time vs. Slovakia. And whilst they found themselves behind in the 75th minute as Breel Embolo put the Swiss ahead, they would level the scoring immediately courtesy of Bukayo Saka’s rocket from long range.
Both teams boast a stellar attacking core, and it’s why we’re backing both teams to find the back of the net at +110. Five of the last six meetings between these two have seen both teams score, and we’re backing that trend to continue in Dortmund.
