Bournemouth Upset Alert? Will Arsenal’s Title Odds Take a Hit?

Two of the most in-form sides will face off at the Emirates on Saturday as Arsenal host Bournemouth in North London. Whilst Arsenal continue to push for their first Premier League title in two decades, Bournemouth are playing with house money after sealing their Premier League status ahead of schedule.

It’s hard to pick a winner here, but we’re backing the Gunners to come away with the three points and hang onto first place. Getting a clean sheet, however, may be easier said than done. Bournemouth are hitting their stride under Andoni Iraola, and they are playing like a team with no fear. With an array of attacking options like Dominic Solanke and Antoine Semenyo, the Gunners could have their hands full as they look to keep the pressure on City.

Bournemouth have failed to score in just one league match since February – a 1-0 loss to City on Feb. 24 – and we’re backing them to find the back of the net in their trip to the capital. But whilst the Cherries have enjoyed a strong debut campaign under their Spanish manager, they haven’t quite managed to convince against the top teams in England.

Apart from a 2-2 draw vs Aston Villa in December, Bournemouth have lost each of their nine matches against the league’s top five sides in all competitions. They have lost their last four matches to Arsenal and conceded 3+ goals in each of their last three meetings with Mikel Arteta’s side. We’re backing the Gunners to come away with a much-needed victory in our Premier League betting picks.

  • Best Bet: Arsenal to win and both teams to score (+150)

Bournemouth have been finding the back of the net for fun under Andoni Iraola, and we’re backing them to find a way past the Premier League’s best defense.

Which Premier League player is likely to score or assist this weekend?
