Chelsea is one of the most inconsistent teams in Europe, but the Blues have converted Stamford Bridge into a fortress, losing only one of the last 15 games in all competitions, and it was with a goal in the 95th minute.

Before losing to Manchester City last week, the Blues hosted Wolverhampton and won 3-1. The Blues’ scoring three goals without the contribution of any of their top two scorers speaks exceptionally well of them. Thirteen players, including three defenders, have scored at least one goal.

That, combined with West Ham’s terrible season, makes me recommend that you include Chelsea by 2 in your soccer expert picks. I don’t expect a blowout because only one of Chelsea’s last 10 EPL home games finished with a 3+ goals difference.

West Ham has only won one of its previous six road games. Most recently, it drew 1-1 with Aston Villa. The Hammers’ only victory was against Southampton, the last-place team, and they suffered tremendously to win 1-0.
