Julian Alvarez added another goal before the break as the Argentines were dominating Croatia.
In the second half, it was the players who scored goals in the first 45 minutes that combined for the third goal.
Messi made a brilliant run to the back line and found Alvarez with the pass in front. The younger teammate of the soccer legend found the back of the net and the rout was on.

The championship match is Sunday. Croatia, meanwhile, settles for a third-place duel with the loser of France-Morocco.
Croatia was bidding to make it to back-to-back championship matches, having lost to France in the 2018 Grand Final.
