The 2020 NCAA College Football Playoff National Championship will take place on Monday, January 13 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The matchup will be decided by who wins the College Football Playoff games. This year, those bowl games have been chosen to be the Peach Bowl and the Fiesta Bowl.

2020 NCAA College Football Playoff Verdict
I’ll get straight to it. My pick for the 2020 NCAA College Football Playoff is LSU to win the national title. All year, it’s seemed like they’re destined for greatness. They’ve taken down power house teams like Bama, Georgia, and Auburn, along with Florida, and Texas.
Quarterback Joe Burrow has passed for over 4,700 yards and is completing 78% of his passes. That’s crazy.
Jamarr Chase and Justin Jefferson have BALLED OUT for the Tigers. Chase is averaging over 20 yards per catch and is two yards short of 1,500 yards receiving. He has 18 touchdown receptions in 2019. Jefferson has caught for 1,207 yards and 14 touchdowns.
The Tigers are coming off a dominant win over Georgia in the SEC championship. They stomped all over the Bulldogs on their way to a 38-10 victory. It was arguably their best win of the season.
If you’re not sold on the Tigers or are looking for a value bet, Clemson at +250 would be my second pick. Dabo Swinney is the best coach in college football today.
The Clemson defense has allowed over 14 points just three times this season. They haven’t given up more than 20. Scoring on the Tigers is a daunting task. Stopping them, is unlikely. An LSU vs. Clemson matchup in the CFP National Championship would make for one hell of a game. Bet both teams now and enjoy the game (and winnings) come January 13th!
