Valve has recently released a new update for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, which reveals the service medal for the upcoming year, giving esports betting fans plenty to look forward to. Service Medal
You can earn the service medal in CSGO by leveling up your game account to Global General (Rank 40). As you successfully upgrade your account and reach the Global General rank, you will receive an option to reset your account level. After resetting your account level, you will be able to upgrade your service medal as well. To claim the next year’s rank medal, you need to reach the 40th rank in the game and can only claim it after Jan. 1, 2021.

Other Changes
There are multiple other changes in the new update of the game. Some of them include the fixing of the Operation Broken Fang. Similarly, some map updates also join the recent update, and most importantly, the ‘Donate Weapon’ feature.
Weapon Donation Feature
In the recent update of the game, you can now donate a weapon to your teammate without dropping your primary weapon. To do that, you need to hold the buy menu donation key (CTRL by default) while purchasing an item for your teammate. In this way, your teammate will receive the weapon from you and you will not have to pick and drop your own weapon again and again. You can also change the donation weapon key in the setting.
CSGO Maps Changes
There are multiple things that the new update brought for maps in the game. Similarly, several bugs are also removed from different maps of the game like Elysion, Apollo, and Anubis. The update has fixed the pixel walk outside on the glass of Elysion. Similarly, players can now jump on the top of the A sign on the A site of the Elysion map. The update has also fixed the Counter-terrorists spawn Cover to make it easier to clear. Similarly, the update also improved the model shuttle collisions to make walking on the Apollo map, nicer.
The recent update also widens the main entrance A, of the Anubis. Moreover, the update also got rid of the deep corner below the windows on the A-side of the Anubis. Several other changes also come out with the new update.
