History of Untara
The 23-year-old former League of Legends player, Untara, competed through three different regions in the game. Unfortunately, the professional never managed to win a title in his career. During his professional career, he was regarded as a stable Top Laner in the game. Most of the time, Untara proved to be a player who wouldn’t carry games by himself but also wouldn’t lose them. Untara has also proved to be a vital player when the whole team faced a backlash in any game. In other words, the professional knew how to recover from a deficit during a game and extend a gold advantage in his favor.
During his professional League of Legends career, sports betting fans will remember Untara served with multiple organizations. However, his stay with SKT was the longest. He served with SKT from May 2017 to November 2018. After finishing his 2018 season, the professional moved to Turkey to prepare for his next season of the game. Untara joined 1907 Fenerbahce in Turkey to compete professionally. However, after four months, he had a stint with the rest of the squad and had to leave the team to go back to Korea.
Untara with Griffin
After returning to Korea, Team Griffin acquired the player for its 10-man 2020 Spring Split. However, the team performed poorly during the series and came in the last place. Due to this defeat, the team had to try and play in the LCK Summer Split. In the LCK Summer Split, the team faced another defeat from SANDBOX Gaming and lost its LCK spot as well.
After losing the LCK spot, Untara and a few other members of Griffin left the team. The professional made a decision about leaving Griffin in May, and after that, he kept looking for a new home.
Switched to Streaming
In the search for a new team in the LCK, Untara turned himself towards online streaming. During his streams, he mentioned multiple times that he has applied for a position in multiple organizations. However, all of his attempts were unsuccessful. One of the main reasons for not getting any kind of response is maybe the defeat Griffin faced in the last tournaments.
After a pretty decent professional career with lots of ups and downs, Utarna finally decides to let go of the professional League of Legends. The star has earned a lot of fame during his time in the game. He also served multiple teams and got the chance to play from multiple servers. The community still thinks that he left the professional scene too quickly. However, Untara says that he is satisfied with his decision. We will not get to see Untara play professionally anymore. However, we might witness his live streams on some days.
