The RBC Heritage has a long list of champion winners and red-hot field tees off this week.
Golf’s biggest names are in the field, including the likes of Dustin Johnson, Patrick Cantlay, and Sergio Garcia, who are looking to bounce back after poor efforts at Augusta.
It’s never easy to play well one week after The Masters, but online betting markets have fantastic value odds for players looking to right their wrongs from last week.
RBC Heritage Dates & Course Details
When: April 15-18, 2021
Where: Harbour Town Golf Links
Distance: 7,121 yards (Par 71)
Tournament Record: 262 (Webb Simpson, 2020)
Where To Watch: Golf Channel/CBS
Defending Champion: Webb Simpson
RBC Heritage Top Pick – Dustin Johnson
Dustin Johnson was bitterly disappointed to miss the cut at The Masters last week, but he often has the memory of a goldfish.
Johnson’s ability to not dwell on the past is incredible and demands attention at the RBC Heritage. It comes as no surprise to see him priced as favorite in golf betting markets; he is the best player in the world for a reason.

He put the disappointing performance down to not putting well, which is a key aspect at Augusta.
“Obviously, I wanted to be around for the weekend,” Johnson told Fox News. “I like this golf course. I feel like I play it very well. I just didn’t putt very good. It’s pretty simple.”
He finished T17 in 2020 behind Webb Simpson and he was only seven shots back, so it’s a good form guide for what to expect this week.
Johnson won the tournament following last year’s RBC Heritage, so he’s worth following over the next few weeks.
The +1200 odds are too good to pass up for the #1 ranked player in the world. Bettors could do much worse and we expect those odds to firm throughout the week.
Pick: Dustin Johnson +1200
RBC Heritage Best Value – Daniel Berger
Daniel Berger is another player who didn’t perform at his usual high level at The Masters, but he’s worth another chance.
The American has been battling with a rib injury, which hasn’t helped his golf this season. However, he showed positive signs last week and he has been well-supported in betting markets.
The 28-year-old is a consistent winner on the PGA Tour and he finished third in this tournament last year. Berger was only two shots behind Webb Simpson, so he loves Harbour Town Golf Links.
Bettors haven’t missed him at +2200, but it’s a value price. Berger should be near the top of the leaderboard after the first round and he’s capable of hanging around on the weekend.
Pick: Daniel Berger +2200
RBC Heritage Next Best – Will Zalatoris
We have followed Will Zalatoris long before he produced a surprise performance at The Masters. The young star will become a PGA Tour winner and now is the time to jump on his back.
His confidence from finishing second at The Masters will be sky-high and there are no weak points about his game. He’s not overly long, which is a positive in our opinion. He has a controlled swing and despite being young, he doesn’t fold under the pressure.
If you’re ever in need of a caddie again let me know. I’ll be better this time. I’m always available for you, Mr. Gilmore. https://t.co/R1e8awZIvh

He has come a long way since caddying Happy Gilmore. In all seriousness, Zalatoris could be the next PGA Tour star and he’s worth backing at the RBC Heritage.
Pick: Will Zalatoris +3000
RBC Heritage First Round Leader – Collin Morikawa
The major winner knows how to get off to a fast start and he played well at The Masters, so his confidence levels should be high.
Morikawa finished T18 after shooting -1. He closed the tournament with a -2 final round, which was three shots better than eventual winner Hideki Matsuyama and equal with Will Zalatoris and Jordan Spieth.
He is an extremely consistent player who made 22 consecutive cuts at one stage. Morikawa should get off to a fast start and the +3000 is well worth taking.
Pick: Collin Morikawa +3000
Top European – Sergio Garcia
The Spanish superstar is another player looking to bounce back after missing the cut. Sergio Garcia won the 2017 Masters but couldn’t repeat the feat.
Prior to shooting +4 last week, Garcia had been playing well. He is still playing well enough to figure in the finish at the RBC Heritage and we like his chances of being top European.
It’s a hot field, including Tyrrell Hatton, Paul Casey, and Tommy Fleetwood. However, Sergio has the experience edge and the mature 41-year-old is capable of causing an upset.
Pick: Sergio Garcia +900
Top Rest of the World – Cameron Smith
The Australian is playing well this season and we like his chances of being near the top of the leaderboard.
He wasn’t too far away from the leaders at The Masters and he will be keen to turn around his poor showing at the 2020 RBC Heritage.
Smith missed the cut on that occasion, but he’s a much better golfer now. He is the 24th best golfer in the world and capable of beating the other players in this division.
He has to beat the likes of Abraham Ancer and Corey Connors, which shouldn’t be too hard for the in-form player.
Pick: Cameron Smith +650
RBC Heritage Top 10 – Matt Kuchar
The tall American has seen a resurgence in his game this year and we’re hoping it continues for another week.
Matt Kuchar has been right around the top of the leaderboard in 2021 and he is confident in his game. He went through a rough period, but he is a quality golfer who demands respect.
Bettors get value odds for Kuchar, so he’s worth a bet.
