The Breeders’ Cup 2013
November 1-2 Santa Anita 2013 Breeders’ Cup World Championships
The 30th Breeder’s Cup will be hosted at Santa Anita Park. It’s said to be one of the richest horseracing events in the world, offering a purse of over $25 million!
The Breeders Cup was formed in 1982 by John R. Gaines and consists of fifteen top-class horse races raced annually at different racecourses each year. When the Breeders Cup was originally set up it was a single day event but due to popularity, new races were introduced, and since 2007 the Breeders Cup Races have been run over two days.
The event is an end of year championship which attracts plenty of interest from European Runners as well as the obvious interest in the US itself. With the addition of the two days, the event now awards over $25 million in prize money.
This two-day event will be held on November 1-2, 2013, and will feature the top Thoroughbred horses from around the globe going head to head in various grade divisions, distances, and purses.
On November 1st we’ll be featuring horse wagering odds on the Marathon, Juvenile Turf, Dirt Mile, Juvenile Fillies Turf, and the Distaff, formerly known as the Ladies Classic.
The following day on November 2nd, you can place your horse racing wagers on the Breeder’s Cup Juvenile Fillies, Filly and Mare Turf, Filly and Mare Sprint, Turf Sprint, Juvenile, Turf, Sprint, Mile and the Classic scheduled for an 8.35 est post time.
