Against the Spread (Devlin Duckett)

Yes, the Steelers appear to be resting some of their starters in this one, but 10 points?! Pittsburgh crushed Cleveland 38-7 in Week 6, and it’s difficult to trust the Browns to cover a spread this size. Cleveland did just lose 23-16 to the NY Jets, after all. It’s hard to imagine Pittsburgh rolling over and playing dead, when they have an opportunity to eliminate a bitter rival.

Even if the Steelers do rest a chunk of their players for the postseason, they can still beat the Browns. Especially if Cleveland DE Myles Garrett has flashbacks and attacks Pittsburgh QB Mason Rudolph with his own helmet again.

The Browns haven’t reached the playoffs in 18 years, and can do so with a home win against the Steelers. Cleveland can still make the postseason if they lose, but would need Indianapolis to lose to Jacksonville. Or, the Browns can clinch with a Titans loss, combined with a win by both the Ravens and Dolphins. Cleveland is 3-7 ATS over its previous 10 contests.

I’m rolling with the Steelers to cover ATS, although the Browns should win the game. Browns 27, Steelers 20

Over/Under (Zack Robinson)

Mason Rudolph is no Ben Roethlisberger, and the offense has been struggling with “Big Ben” under center. Expect RBs James Conner and Benny Snell to be more involved.

The Steelers average 26.3 points per game and the total has gone under in four of their last six games.

Baker Mayfield and the Cleveland Browns are in a must-win situation. They hope to have receivers Jarvis Landry, Rashard Higgins and Donovan People-Jones back.

Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt have been sensational from the backfield, and the Steelers’ defense just allowed 74 yards and two touchdowns by rookie RB Jonathan Taylor (Indianapolis Colts).

The Browns average 25.6 points per game and the total has gone under in six of their last seven games when playing at home against Pittsburgh.

In October, the Steelers crushed the Browns 38-7. Go under in a close one.
