The Seahawks have won the NFC West title for the first time since 2016, and have an outside shot at clinching the NFC’s top seed. It all starts with a victory vs the 49ers. Seattle is riding a three-game winning streak, and has won five-out-of-six. Last week, the Seahawks sent the Rams unceremoniously down the divisional ladder, thumping L.A. 20-9.
San Francisco accomplished an upset of its own in Week 16, knocking off Arizona 20-12. Third-string QB C.J. Beathard tossed three touchdown passes, while RB Jeff Wilson rumbled for a career-high 183 rushing yards. The 49ers will offer the Seahawks one heck of a fight this week. Seattle should win the game, but is unlikely to cover in this divisional slugfest.
San Francisco is one season removed from the Super Bowl Odds, and will make sure to remind Seattle of that fact. Seahawks 27, 49ers 24
