The best racers in the world head to the Daytona International Speedway for the Coke Zero Sugar 400 Saturday night. The last time the Monster Cup drivers were in Daytona was for the Go Bowling 235.
This one is going back to the traditional 2.5-mile asphalt track and will see 160 laps. Justin Haley was the surprise winner a season ago.
All the big drivers will be in their seats. Let’s take a look at our Coke Zero Sugar 400 Betting Preview for 2020, including some of the top betting odds:
Denny Hamlin +700
Hamlin has been tremendous, with 16 Top 10 finishes from 25 starts. Hamlin will look to bounce back, as he struggled last weekend in Dover.
He did not finish in the Top 5, which snapped his long streak. It was not a complete waste of a weekend, though, as he won the event on Saturday.
Hamlin is a member of the Joe Gibbs Racing Team, and there is no doubt that when his car is on the track, it has a great chance of winning. Hamlin is the co-favorite at +700.
Joey Logano +700
Coming in with odds at 7-1, Logano has moved into a co-favorite role. The 30-year-old will be driving the No. 22 Ford Car, and is seeking his third win of the season.
Logano is coming off a 13th-place finish Sunday. He has yet to win a big race since the racing world shut down and returned. Can Logano maneuver enough of the track to win this weekend?
Kevin Harvick +900
If you are not saying Hamlin when discussing a race and the winner – you’ve got to go to Harvick. Right now, those two are the A and B. Harvick won Sunday in Dover, which was his seventh of the season.
The amazing stat for Harvick is his 21 Top 10 finishes in 25 races. Harvick is having an absolutely amazing season.
It will be interesting to see how he fares at Daytona. He is +900 and has some experience winning here, as he won this race in 2010.
Brad Keselowski +900
Here is another guy that has won this event — in 2016 — so Keselowski knows how to get it done. The No. 2 car will be a threat the entire race; you can almost guarantee that.
Keselowski has finished inside the Top 10 18 times in 2020. He also has nine top-five finishes.
Chase Elliott +1000
The fifth-ranked Cup driver is Chase Elliott. Listed at +1000 odds, Elliott is coming off a 39th-place finish. But, Elliott has a win this month, as was able to win the road race right here in Daytona.
Kyle Busch +1200
Busch at +1200 seems like good odds if you want to make some money. The 35-year-old who will be driving the Snickers car has yet to win a race in 2020. He is coming off a third-place finish Sunday.
Busch is a great underdog bet if you have the patience and the bankroll for it. The 12-1 looks nice for a guy who knows how to be successful on the track!
Let’s get ready for some racing, boys! This should be a really exciting event, and we truly believe there are several guys in the mix to take down this race. Best of luck with all your bets this weekend, but more importantly – enjoy the race!
