NBA Betting Pick of the Week: Indiana Pacers vs. Toronto Raptors

The Western Conference has received plenty of hype this season, but the Eastern Conference in the NBA is solid as well. The Milwaukee Bucks lead the way, but there are plenty of teams hot on their trail. The Indiana Pacers host the Toronto Raptors on Friday night, and this game is our NBA Betting Pick of the Week.

Indiana enters the week having lost two straight, but they are still 12 games over the .500 mark. Toronto comes into the week having won 11 straight games, and they are on a roll. These two teams will meet up in Toronto on Tuesday night, and this game should be a terrific rematch. Both teams are tough to beat on their home floor, and that will play a role this week.

Pacers Still Need More Offense

The Indiana Pacers are still looking for more offense in their quest to become a more balanced team. Indiana is averaging just 109.6 points per game this season, which is well below league average. The Pacers are holding teams to less than 107 points per game, and they are tough to score on at home. Indiana will need to be solid on both ends to win this game.

All Star forward Victor Oladipo is back in the lineup for the Indiana Pacers, but it will take him some time to get his rhythm. Forward Damontas Sabonis leads the team with 18 points per game this season, and he is tough to stop on the low block. Former Milwaukee Bucks point guard, Malcolm Brogdon, is averaging 7.5 assists per game, and he can really shoot it as well.

Raptors Solid on Both Ends

The Toronto Raptors are an even better defensive team than the Indiana Pacers, and they are allowing less than 106 points per game. Toronto has incredible depth, and they can run plenty of fresh bodies at the Pacers. The Raptors have been scoring the ball much better as well, and they have seen their points per game total rise to 112.6 points per night.

All Star forward Pascal Siakam is having a monster season for the Raptors, and he will have a big game in this one. Siakam is averaging 23.7 points per game, and he can score in a variety of ways. Point guard Kyle Lowry leads the team with 7.3 assists, and he can make big shots when his team needs it the most.

Pacers Pick Up Impressive Home Win

There is a real good chance that this game will be a playoff preview in the Eastern Conference, and it should be one of the best games of the week. Toronto has been playing great basketball over the last few weeks, and they do everything well. Indiana has been a bit inconsistent this season, but they are always tough to beat at home. Look for the Pacers to find just enough offense in this game to knock off the Raptors. Bet the Indiana Pacers over the Toronto Raptors in the NBA Betting Pick of the Week.
