NBA Game of the Week: Los Angeles Clippers at Milwaukee Bucks

The 2019-20 NBA season is heating up, and there are a ton of terrific matchups on the schedule this week. The Los Angeles Clippers will be visiting the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night, and this is the NBA Game of the Week. Both of these teams are loaded with NBA superstars, and this could be a potential NBA Finals preview.

Milwaukee enters the week with a record of 17-3, and they have won 11 straight games through Sunday. The Bucks have yet to lose a game at home this season, and sit in first place in the Central Division. Los Angeles enters Sunday with a record of 14-6, but they just recently rattled off seven straight wins. Bucks Continue to Score Points

The Milwaukee Bucks led the NBA in scoring a season ago, and they have been even better so far this season. The Bucks are averaging more than 120 points per game, and they continue to be one of the best shooting teams in the league. Milwaukee has allowed close to 110 points per game this season, but their pace and style of play is going to cause them to give up plenty of points.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is the reigning MVP of the league, and he looks like he is on a mission to be a repeat winner of that award. The "Greek Freak" is averaging 31 points, 13.4 rebounds, and six assists per game this season, and has been dominant of late. Khris Middleton has pitched in with close to 18 points per game, but the Bucks can get offense from many different players on their roster.

Kawhi Needs Help From His Teammates

Kawhi Leonard is off to a terrific start in his first season in a Los Angeles Clippers uniform, but he is going to need some help from his teammates. Paul George is averaging close to 23 points per game since his return from a shoulder injury, but the duo has yet to share the floor for much of the season. Depth was supposed to be a huge key for the Clippers this season, but Lou Williams has been the only bench player that has played well.

The Clippers are averaging 113 points per game, but that's still well short of what the Bucks are averaging. Defense has also been an issue at times for this team, and they are allowing close to 108 points per game. Head coach Doc Rivers continues to try and find the right personnel groupings to get this team to the next level.

Bucks Just Too Good on Home Floor

The Los Angeles Clippers had a ton of hype entering the season, but they have struggled to find consistency. Los Angeles has really struggled to play winning basketball on the road this season, and they are still looking for more offense. Milwaukee has been an unstoppable force all season long, and their offense continues to be explosive.
