Head-to-Head: Los Angeles Clippers vs Nuggets

The regular-season series between the Clippers and Nuggets is tied at one win apiece. In both games, the winning team shot over 43% from “3” while the losing team shot 36% or less. The last time the teams played on Feb. 28,  LAC blew out Denver, 132-103 in L.A. The Clippers covered the spread by 22 points while shooting a field goal percentage of 53.9%.

Injury Report: Kawhi Leonard and Paul George

It is always good to check the injury report before placing bets on any NBA games, or any sport for that matter. Denver has listed SG Gary Harris and SF Will Barton as out. The Nuggets also have reported SF Jerami Grant (knee) as questionable. Denver is a team that has relied on depth all season. Even so, it would be hard to overcome the favored Clippers with three role players out.

In the Clippers; most recent loss to the Brooklyn Nets, All-Star Kawhi Leonard scored a game-high 39 points while All-Star teammate Paul George watched from the bench. The night before in a close victory of the Trail Blazers, George led the team with 21 points while Kawhi rested.

There are three full days between their most recent game Sunday and the pivotal matchup with Denver. Both Leonard and George are expected to play for the Clippers. They both should be fully rested and ready to deliver big games.

A fun prop bet could be, Kawh Leonard (29.4 points/game since restart) and Paul George (25.2 points/game since restart) score 50+ points combined. Or, bet Kawhi scores 28 or more points.

It’s Over: Prop Bet

Take the over.

All six games Denver has played, since the NBA restart, have been over the over/under line by an average of 22.5 points/game. On top of that, four out of six games that LAC has played have been over with an average of 8.625 points/game. Expect a high-scoring shootout in a crucial game that will help decide the two seed in the NBA Western Conference.
