The WNBA’s doubleheader Wednesday features the return of a superstar as Candace Parker finally rejoins her home team, the Chicago Sky (2-7) as they look to end their skid against the last-place Indiana Fever (1-9), while the Seattle Storm (7-2) look to also get back to winning against the Atlanta Dream (4-4)
Our last WNBA parlay cashed at +405 as we look to keep our winning streak going with a potential slam dunk here.
Storm Crash the Dream
Game Time: 7 p.m. ET
Point Spread: Seattle Storm – 8½ (-110), Atlanta Dream +8½ (-110)
Moneyline: Seattle Storm -420, Atlanta Dream +340
If the recent trend continues, we’re in for another buzzer-beater finish. Just kidding. This shouldn’t be a close game as the WNBA betting odds indicate with the Seattle Storm looking for a dominant win over the Atlanta Dream.
The Storm saw their six-game winning streak snapped thanks to G Arike Ogunbowale’s buzzer-beater. The Dream are aiming to bounce back from a blowout loss to the Lynx. Both of these teams have high ceilings offensively, but the Dream’s porous defense will be their downfall.
ARIKE OGUNBOWALE 🤯

Atlanta has the second-lowest defensive rating thanks to letting opponents shoot 44.8% from the field. That is coupled by the team’s penchant to foul frequently thus giving up the freest throws per game at over 20. Seattle should be able to exploit this weakness, namely with F Breanna Stewart and Jewell Loyd being aggressive.
Seattle should be able to keep coming at the defensively challenged Dream and beat them on the free throw line or from downtown where Atlanta allows 37.5% shooting. The chalk is heavy, but the Storm aren’t losing.
Pick: Seattle Storm -420
Sky’s the Limit Against Fever
Game Time: 8 p.m. ET
Point Spread: Indiana Fever +10 (-110), Chicago Sky -10 (-110)
Moneyline: Indiana Fever +390, Chicago Sky -490
A heavier chalk, the Chicago Sky are nearly 5-1 against a team they only have one more win over in the Indiana Fever. The betting line is steep thanks to superstar Candace Parker returning from her ankle injury.
Parker filled up the stat sheet with 16 points, eight boards, four assists, and 3 blocks in her only game: a decisive victory over the Washington Mystics back at the start of the season. Her return should help end the Sky’s skid, especially against the rebuilding Fever.
Indiana is just plain bad. The team can’t stop anyone and can barely score. The Fever’s -18.6 net rating is 15 points worse than the next team. The Sky’s 90.6 offensive rating is the worst in the WNBA but the return of Parker should fix that a bit.
More notably, Parker also turns the already formidable Sky defense into a monster. It’s only 25 minutes, but the Sky’s defensive rating was 59.6 when Parker was on the floor. Against the anemic Fever, the Sky will dominate. As a side bet, take the under 75 on the Fever’s team total.
