The NFC East has left a lot to be desired this season. Dallas keeps trying to give Philadelphia the division, but they don't want it. Every time Dallas comes up short, they open up the door for Philly who just wastes the opportunity.

New York and Washington are officially out of the Playoffs, so the division will be won by Philadelphia or Dallas. In the end, there will be no winners in the NFC East, just four disappointed fan bases.

Carson Wentz has played as good as he can even if at times the offense feels flat and uninspired. Wentz tries his best to spread the ball around the field, but his receivers are just not cutting it. Too many passes are being dropped, many of them in pivotal moments. Nelson Agholor, Alshon Jeffery, even Zach Ertz have dropped big passes for big yardage all season long.

Wentz has passed for 2,840 yards, 20 touchdowns and seven interceptions. He's not the least not the main problem.

Injuries continue to decimate this team. It's the story every year. Philly's problem is an all-too familiar one. They can't close out close games.

The Eagles are 5-7 on the season. Four of those seven losses, including the last three straight games were all decided by seven points or less.

This is where the Giants come in. Big Blue has lost eight straight games. They haven't looked good in any one of them. The Giants have lost by an average of 12 points per game since Week 4. It's just what Philadelphia needs to find their mojo.

The Eagles will get their confidence back on Monday night. Doug Pederson is a good coach with a very good quarterback. They will face a defense that allows over 258 passing yards per game and has given up 22 passing touchdowns.

Philly gets their groove back and inches towards the top of the NFC East ladder. The fat lady hasn't yet sung in Philly.
