NFL Game of the Week:‌ ‌Houston Texans vs. Jacksonville Jaguars ‌-‌ ‌ Week‌ ‌9

Houston Texans (5-3) vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (4-4)
Sunday, November 3rd - 9:30AM ET - Wembley Stadium, London, England
Betting Line: Houston -2, Total 47.5

Half a game separates Houston and Jacksonville in the AFC South. The Jags have a chance to tie it up and potentially force a three-way tie with Indianapolis in Week 9. Unfortunately, Jacksonville will have to give up home advantage to do it.

The NFL action kicks off this Sunday across the pond when the Houston Texans and Jacksonville Jaguars go head-to-head in London's Wembley Stadium. The Texans, who are coming off a late win over the Oakland Raiders, are two point favorites over the Jags.

The Texans have already beaten the Jags this season. In Week 2, the Jaguars traveled to Houston where they came up just short in a 13-12 loss. DeShaun Watson posted a season low 159 passing yards.

Carlos Hyde rushed for 90 yards in that game -- his second highest total this season.

Leonard Fournette was stopped on a two-point conversion that would have put the Jaguars one point ahead of Houston with just 36 seconds left. It was a gutsy play that ultimately didn't pay off.

DeShaun Watson is a superb talent. When he gets the protection he needs, there's no stopping Watson. We saw what he did against Atlanta, a game in which he was not sacked. Watson passed for 426 yards and five touchdowns.

On the flip side, when New Orleans Watson him six times, Houston lost 30-28. When Jacksonville sacked Watson four times, they won 13-12. Carolina sacked Watson six times in a 16-10 loss for the Texans. Indy got two Watson three times in a 30-23 loss where Watson threw two interceptions.

Jacksonville ranks 3rd in defensive sacks this season (29). That could be a problem for Houston.

Houston must also address the loss of J.J. Watt, who will miss the rest of the season with a torn pectoral muscle. Watson is the heart of the Texans defense. His loss is a big one. Gardner Minshew will benefit from Watt's absence the most.

The Jags are coming off back-to-back wins over Cincinnati and the Jets. Leonard Fournette is having a very productive year. While it has translated to just one touchdown for #27, Fournette has rushed for 791 yards on 4.9 yards per carry this season. He has three 100+ rushing yard games, including a 225-yard game at Denver.

Gardner Minshew is completing 62% of his passes since taking over for Nick Foles in Week 1. He's averaging 272 yards per game. ThHe most impressive feat is Minshew's 13 touchdowns to 2 interceptions. Minshew also has 201 rushing yards.

Jacksonville's defense will be the X-factor in this game. I'm counting on them getting to the quarterback where Watson will be less effective.

I'm not sure why this total is as high as it is, but I'm going way under. Under 47.5 is the pick my pick for the NFL Game of the Week.
