It seems the Chargers have come alive in recent weeks. After going 2-5 to start the season, L.A. has won back-to-back games against Chicago and Green Bay.

The win over Green Bay was particularly impressive.

Green Bay has had a phenomenal season. They went into the game with a 7-1 record and on a four-game win streak. Aaron Rodgers passed for 1,255 yards, 10 touchdowns, and 1 interception in their four-game streak. Then came the Chargers.

Rodgers put up his worst numbers of the season against the Los Angeles defense. He completed 23 passes for 161 yards and one touchdown. L.A. limited Rodgers to just 4.6 yards per pass, well below his 8.2 yard season average.

The Chargers defense found themselves in Green Bay's backfield all game long. They hit Aaron Rogers seven times, sacking him thrice and limited Aaron Jones to just 30 rushing yards. They also deflected seven Green Bay passes.

Davante Adams had seven catches, but couldn't muster up more than 41 receiving yards.

L.A.'s offense was operating on all cylinders. Philip Rivers completed 75% of his passes for 294 yards. Hunter Henry was his favorite target. Henry caught seven of 10 passes for 84 yards. Still, it was Mike Williams who made the most of his looks. He took three passes for 111 yards.

Melvin Gordon rushed 20 times for 80 yards. He caught three passes for another 29 yards, putting him over the century mark for the game. Austin Ekeler also had a very productive game, rushing for 70 yards on just 12 carries.

Oakland is coming off a big win over Detroit. It was their first win since returning from their Week 6 bye. It should be noted that they faced Green Bay and Houston on the road upon their return.

The win puts Oakland at 4-4, second in the AFC West. An effective offense and gutsy play-calling made all the difference for Oakland.

Derek Carr passed for 289 yards and 2 toucdowns. He spread the ball to nine receivers, hitting eight.

Josh Jacobs had another stellar game. The rookie running back ran the ball 28 times for 120 yards and two touchdowns. He now has 744 rushing yards on the season. The Raiders ran for 171 yards as a unit against Detroit.

Josh Jacobs may have been the more impressive player, but L.A. had the more impressive win. They dominated a much stronger team in the Packers and made it look easy.

The Chargers are also 4-0 straight up and against the spread versus Oakland since 2017. It hasn't been close either. The Chargers have outscored Oakland 93-42 over the last four games. That's a +13 point differential per game for L.A.

The last five matchups between these two teams hit the under. The under is 13-7 in L.A.'s last 20 games versus Oakland. Consider parlaying the Chargers and the Under in this one. I know I will.
