In October, the Raiders shocked the betting world when they beat the Chiefs at home as 11-point underdogs in a 40-32 final. This time around, the sportsbook gives the Raiders a little more respect in their home-field series game.

Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs lose a couple of players this week, as DE Taco Charlton (leg) and RT Mitchell Schwartz (back) downgraded from questionable, to doubtful, to injured reserve on Saturday.
Also on Saturday, WR Sammy Watkins (hamstring) has been, and stop us if you’ve heard this before, declared a late scratch.
RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire and RB Darrel Williams both missed Friday’s practice due to illness, which sent a shock through the offense. The team has since cleared both of them, and CB Rashad Fenton (ankle) of their questionable designations.
The only player declared questionable is RT Mike Remmers (ribs). They also activated DE Alex Okafor and CB L’Jarius Sneed from injured reserve, but it’s unclear if they’ll be dressed for this game. Do expect to see WR Mecole Hardman who the team activated from the IR-C on Saturday.
Las Vegas Raiders
Early in the week, the Raiders lost their defense. Pretty much every defensive starter was either banged up on the injury report or one of over a half-dozen players moved to the COVID-IR. Media outlets sounded the alarm that the Raiders wouldn’t be able to dress enough defenders to even play.
Once the drama dust cleared, so too did S Johnathan Abram, DT Maliek Collins, DT Johnathan Hankins, CB Isaiah Johnson, DE Arden Key, DT Kendal Vickers, and DT David Irving all from the IR-C. So too did S/CB Lamarcus Joyner who was activated previously on Friday. Sunday morning, the team announced they returned him to the list.
Listed questionable throughout the week, but now cleared of an injury designation are S Erik Harris (ribs), FB Alec Ingold (ribs), LT Kolton Miller (ankle) and RT Sam Young (knee).
So in the end, they come to the game with only two questionable players, RB Jalen Richard (chest) and DT Maurice Hurst (ankle).
The game spent most of the week off the board, having opened with the Raiders as 6½-point underdogs. By the time it came back up, the Raiders were catching more than a touchdown. With these injuries, we’re on board and will play the Las Vegas Raiders +7½. Can’t go so far as to say they’re a live dog again, but the moneyline of +290 is also worth a waiver. If they win, you can celebrate as the team hops in the bus and does laps around Allegiant until dawn.
We’d rather pass on the total, but a slight lean to the over 56½ in the interest of making a pick.
